21st century feminism is compatible with late 20th and 21st century Protestantism. It is incompatible with the ancient faith, the Church of Jesus Christ passed down my the Apostles and Fathers. True feminism, and not the modern extremist feminist movement, is compatible with the ancient faith, however. Ironically, while modern feminism is a fit for much of modern Protestantism, it is Protestantism and right wing ideology that spawned this beast to begin with.

There was a thread in the Eastern Orthodox forum here asking why it seems that far more men convert to Orthodoxy in the West than women, and while I have not noticed a notable difference in numbers, one of the reasons the modern, Western feminist woman wouldn't be interested in Orthodoxy is that it is antithetical to their movement.

And men being sexually attracted is considered yet another sin in the Christian religion itself too.
Not true. Sex was ordained for humanity before the fall. Some Christians think sex is evil, but they are wrong. Let's be real, if it wasn't for sex, few men would get married. Satan's trick has been to magnify the physical side and diminish the relationship side. Lust is a by-product of the fall. There are all kinds of lusts and they are all the unbalanced focus on natural desires. A married man should be content with his lot in life and that includes sex. A good relationship works in every area including that one.
Men and women are different. I would love to see people just get over it.
Was Jesus radically pro-man too?

Why did the Christians and traditionalists have to lose so badly that the ideologies that originate from that communism is seen in so many institutions today?
First, winning and losing are determined in the end, not mid stream.
However, I think your question is excellent. There are many Christians who conflate Christianity and communism together. The difference between the two is one is voluntary the other is forced into giving. The book of Acts is misleading for many Christians. When it says they had all things in common, it specifically means the Israeli Christians of Jerusalem. They were a family and already had the propensity to share with other family members. Although, that did not last. Even today, the Israeli Kibbutzes began as communist communes, but they discovered, not everyone pulled their weight and they did not prosper. Today they are a blend of capitalism and communism, just as China has blended the two together.

Another factor is guilt from the pulpit. They imply that you not a good Christian unless you tithe. Worse, one guy even said you would go to Hell if you did not tithe. So the pulpit conditions believers into a type of "forced" compliance.

Yes, but that is specifically thanks to feminism. If you are asking what the pros and cons of feminism are, we've hit upon a very important pro.

I believe all good things come from the Lord. If we are bettered God gets the credit.

No, I would view marriage as ideally sacramental. I see no reason why that needs to be hierarchical, though, and good reason why it should not be.

I have a similar viewpoint and see submission as mutually undertaken by both. But that doesn’t set aside God’s order. That is prevalent throughout the bible.

How does feminism reinforce a man's worthlessness? I've spent a considerably amount of time within the feminist movement, and despite its flaws, this is something I've never seen.

You have never heard of toxic masculinity or negative associations regarding men in the feminist movement? @Dave-W shared several articles and Twitter is full of them.

I don't see how this analogy works. A pilot is not really an authority figure

The analogy wasn’t about authority. I was addressing trust in that statement. For some, the idea of placing themselves in their spouse’s hands is unthinkable. But they’d entrust their well-being to a pilot without a problem.

If your conscience dictates such an arrangement, so be it, though again, I think the ideal is that the master/servant dichotomy breaks down to the point that the hierarchy disappears altogether.

It isn’t a question of conscience. Or the notion of employing master/servant ideals. I think its better to admit you’re disregarding something than trying to rewrite its meaning to fit your preference. Just say no and be done with it and own that no while you’re at it. The mental gymnastics make little sense in my mind.

....We encounter authority figures everyday and yield without complaint. But when it comes to marriage its another matter. I’d rather follow the man who loves me than a stranger who’s doing his job.
I dunno. The pilot has years and years of specific task training and operates with in a highly regulated system.

I dont think husbands come with that sort of preparation or oversight. Nor wives, for that matter.

Maybe if a potential mate had years of generic marriage training plus 2,000 hours on the LaBella marriage simulator....

Nor do parents, but still they have authority over their children.

He is a stranger. That is the point. And there are many situations which mirror this example where we don’t give a second thought to entrusting our welfare to others who have no loyalty or stake in our well-being. But the premise of doing the same with the person we’ve pledged to walk beside is met with disdain.

Maybe if a potential mate had years of generic marriage training plus 2,000 hours on the LaBella marriage simulator....

My understanding and obedience hails from Him. Pleasing God is my aim. :)

I believe all good things come from the Lord. If we are bettered God gets the credit.

If your viewpoint is that no social movement whatsoever could have pros because any good that comes from them is due to God alone, why ask about the pros and cons of feminism at all? You have basically redefined it as a construct through which God works his will, which is theologically sound but doesn't leave much to talk about.

I have a similar viewpoint and see submission as mutually undertaken by both. But that doesn’t set aside God’s order. That is prevalent throughout the bible.

Is it? I see the result of sin being prevalent throughout the Bible, and that sometimes involves people wanting to set up hierarchies where they should not, like when the Israelites asked for a king.

You have never heard of toxic masculinity or negative associations regarding men in the feminist movement? @Dave-W shared several articles and Twitter is full of them.

"Toxic masculinity" refers to the ways in which society normalizes destructive behavior amongst men. When people write off offensive, sexually explicit language as "locker room talk," that is normalizing male disrespect and entitlement towards women that can turn violent.

It doesn't mean that masculinity itself is toxic, and I certainly don't know anyone who thinks that men are worthless because of this sort of idea. I would also be careful judging any movement based on Twitter, since it tends to be sensational and reactionary at the best of times.

The analogy wasn’t about authority. I was addressing trust in that statement. For some, the idea of placing themselves in their spouse’s hands is unthinkable. But they’d entrust their well-being to a pilot without a problem.

Then I really don't understand the analogy. I would be very disturbed if spouses were unable to trust each other with their well-being.

It isn’t a question of conscience. Or the notion of employing master/servant ideals. I think its better to admit you’re disregarding something than trying to rewrite its meaning to fit your preference. Just say no and be done with it and own that no while you’re at it. This is surprisingly uncharitable. I'm not engaged in mental gymnastics, though I do lean somewhat in the direction of liberation theology, which means a focus on hierarchical thinking is always going to make me suspicious. I don't think social structures that lead to oppression are divine. Quite the opposite, really.

If your convictions run in a different direction, though, so be it. I can respect that.

I think it is worthwhile to consider the past first. Before Christ, women were regarded as the property of men, not much better than cattle. Especially in the pagan world. The Mosaic Covenant gave more respect to women, but we need to remember what Jesus said to the Sadducees when they tried to entrap him. Divorce was permitted by Moses because of the hardness of their hearts. The Mosaic Covenant is a document for the unregenerate whose hearts were uncircumcised.

Jesus gave a new respect for women unknown to Israel. The disciples were astonished to find Jesus even talking to the Samaritan woman at the well. A recorded conversation, incidentally, which is the longest recorded conversation of Jesus to an single person in the New Testament.

The world remains hardened and it still influences the body of Christ today. But not always. The influence of the people of God on the world after the resurrection and ascension of Christ has mitigated the hard-hearted attitude of men regarding women as property. Mitigate means "lessen" not remove.

Feminism as a movement has its roots in the Fabian society of England whose goal is to set up a global communist government. Jane Addams was a Fabian who came to the USA and spearheaded suffrage then, later, prohibition. Communism wants to destroy families and marriages. The UN published a document years ago stating what was needed to create a global government.

I've lost the document, but remember the path. They understood that an intact family creates a local loyalty. Those with good home lives will place their loyalty first on their family, then on their neighborhood and local community. They have no loyalty to international organizations, and less for national or state governments.

When families are destroyed, loyalties are much easier to transfer over to abstract organizations farther removed from local affairs to national and international. This is why corporate media publish more news about international affairs than local, by the way.

Gloria Steinem, an early advocate of feminism, admits she was a CIA asset
.
The CIA has never been for the USA, but works for the globalist dynasties. Divide and conquer.

Are there positive aspects of feminism? Yes, but only on the side line. God never created women to subservient to men, but as co partners. While we are all complete as men or women, we are increased when joined together. In general, of course there are exceptions, but in general, women tend to have an eye for detail better than men, and men tend to see the big picture better than women. Mutual submission means mutual respect.

In general, Christianity has done more to liberate women, than the feminist movement.

Highly transpicious, that Steinem eg @1.00.

I would liken this to the hermaphrodite spirit. Its androgynous. Also known as the Baphomet, Goat of Mendes, etc.

There's a good case been made for the infiltration and control of the feminist movement by men in drag. It's a key piece of the long-running Luciferian agenda to turn everything upside down and destroy God's creation - the transpocalypse. Its pernicious effects are recorded in the Old Testament, as well as pagan sources.

What does that have to do with feminism?
Any time feminists use that kind of evil equality, it has to do with it. feminists are not one huge perfectly uniform group.

In general anyone that thinks something is wholly good or wholly evil is biased. They choose to see the best or the worst parts and ignore the other. But only what is perfect will remain because hell is destroyed by its very nature.

Women are the gatekeepers, and should keep a good lock on the gate. ;)
Is there any scripture to back this assertion ? Can you find an instance in scripture where a woman refused a man ?

Consider biblical language ... can you think of an instance where the scriptures say ... that any woman "gave" herself to any man ? Ruth comes the closest, I think ... and yet, Boaz took upon himself the responsibility for managing their coming together ...

Ruth 4

7 When Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits, he went over to lie down at the far end of the grain pile. Ruth approached quietly, uncovered his feet and lay down.

8 In the middle of the night something startled the man, and he turned and discovered a woman lying at his feet.

9 "Who are you?" he asked. "I am your servant Ruth," she said. "Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a kinsman-redeemer."

10"The LORD bless you, my daughter," he replied. "This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor.

11 And now, my daughter, don't be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All my fellow townsmen know that you are a woman of noble character.

12 Although it is true that I am near of kin, there is a kinsman-redeemer nearer than I.

13 Stay here for the night, and in the morning if he wants to redeem, good; let him redeem. But if he is not willing, as surely as the LORD lives I will do it. Lie here until morning."

14 So she lay at his feet until morning, but got up before anyone could be recognized; and he said, "Don't let it be known that a woman came to the threshing floor."

There is a difference in the symbols of hermaphrodite and androgyny. I would not call God a hermaphrodite. Hermaphrodite is an unfortunate and imperfect mixture of male and female. Androgyny on the other hand is something completely unobtainable on the physical plane because it is only realized spiritually, because humanity is both male and female as a whole and that is the real image of God.

So the difference is corrupt confused mixture vs wholeness/fullness. Some other spiritual traditions might have used the hermaphrodite symbol, but androgyny is a better expression.

But the division of male and female is already supremely annoying for someone who knows that they're going to exist forever. I'm a unique mind before I am some biological category. I have freedom to become and don't want to stifel Eternity with a temporary condition. More than creatures, we are to be divine creatures.
