Ya, the earth is a closed system.. Doubt if oil removal and mining of heavy metals is going to cause the earth to wobble out of control and slam into mars.

I call it de-construction of the free world to justify its overthrow by the very same enslavers of mankind who fought the free worlds founding in the first place. Including its natural evolution of making slavery illegal.

Geeta Thunberg is not being "used". She has her own point of view which she is expressing. And in case you didnt notice the TV coverage of large marches around the world ... there are many people who are concerned about Climate Change.

It is not the climate change people who have been duped, but instead all of the conspiracy nuts. A great many of these people live in America. Sadly, some call themselves Christians. They are constantly repeating nonsensical ideas like "One world government", "the Anti-Christ is taking over", "black helicopters will land in your backyard", and "liberals are taking control". Enough of this bogus nonsense, this stuff comes ftom the pages of Breitbart. Christians should have nothing to do with bigotry and racism.

Greta Thunberg does need to change her message, make it more positive, stop sounding so dramatic, and start making constructive suggestions. This is essential if she wants to stay relevant..

But the conspiracy theories about Climate Change belong in the trash can.

First, scripture does not teach that Gid will destroy the earth; it teaches that the earth will be restored and redeemed. See Romans 8, around verse 20.

Her rant was toxic and made many unsubstantiated claims. It's obvious that she is being fed things to say.

She is being used because of her condition, her age, and her gender.. Anyone who counters her will be hammered.

Bottom line is we know pollution of all kinds is harmful. We also know that corporations that profit from polluting industries do not want clean energy because they care more about profit than the well being of the planet. The oil companies own scientists knew the planet was warming a long time ago and covered it up...so, do you realize they've managed to get you to defend their continuing harm to the planet?

We have come to international agreements to protect the planet, human rights, etc., and many individuals communities, cities and states are working to make the world a better place.
Even if we have past the tipping point (the majority of scientists do not agree), it is still up to all of us to do rhe best we can, for the people and the planet.
Saying it is hopeless is like dumping gasoline into a river and claiming it does not matter because the river is already polluted.
Of course it matters.
It all matters.
And we all have the responsibility to do what we can to make the world a better place.

This does not answer your question, but one thing is for sure. If citizens in developed countries did not consume based on a debt-lifestyle, there would be a huge percentage drop in pollution from less production and post-consumption waste strewn about.

Yup. People need to look at it in the present times. Associating Bible prophecies to anything Revelation/Apocalypse/2nd Coming related should be left on ignored.

We have to think of this in the present times, as in people, children and animals suffering from illness due to the pollution and lack of habitat. Why does anyone take what is in Revelations of importance to this subject?

Yes, connecting the apocalypse to the "climate change hoax" as they call it, is rediculous.
The only part of Revelation that definately applies to us right now is in chapter 11;
He will destroy those who destroy the earth.

There is no conection between Revelations and Climate Change.

The effects of climate change happen slowly ... it is an evolving phenomenon. No-one is saying that "the world will end", and certainly not in one week, one month or one year. There is a long time delay - a huge time lag - between when data are measured now and when consequences happen in the future. Scientists are issuing 'dire warnings' only because they are afraid that the process will get out of control later this century ... if important safeguards are not started immediately.

I do agree with critics that the scientific community needs to stop sounding like "Chicken Little". I am a scientist, but i agree that the scientists need to change their dialog. Scientists need to come out with constructive suggestions. Likewise, talk of 'carbon taxes' is not helpful either. People do not have money to throw away. The world needs practical solutions.

Everything is connected.. From abortion, to gay marriages, to transgender, to evolution, to global warming to feminism.... it's all part of Satan's plan.

And.. that is to muddle the truth. Divide and conquer.
It all leads to one end.... a One world government, run buy the antichrist and the beast... where Christians are beheaded...

God is in control. The earth is not going to melt. There will be no mass extinction.. collapse of ecosystems.....

Satan is the Prince of this earth.. he knows his time is short. He can only do as much as God gives him permission to do though.

There are at least two concerns: climate change and pollution.

Climate change is debatable and political as well as requiring global cooperation.

Pollution, air, water and land seem to be more local concerns... even down to the city or town level. In fact, even one's own daily habits.
