You need to do some research on how climate science studies climate change beyond the era of recorded meteorology.

I believe the term is "proxy temperature measurement". For example, the sediment strata in varved lakes can be studied back over ten thousand years and the layers in glacial ice cores go back several hundred thousand years. The seeds and spores and other organic material reveal the type of vegetation year by year and this can give of a good estimate of the climate at the time. That is just one example.

Government is not a person. It hopefully includes people coming from all different perspectives, including many who don't buy the hype.
Governments are populated mostly from the middle class in their respective countries. Many have business backgrounds and commercial involvement. Politicians very rarely represent the poor or the lower tiers of working class society.

Politicians don't come from different perspectives in society.

Climate science is not about hype nor is meteorology. They just study the weather over time and record and investigate climate. They are telling you how the climate is changing, or more importantly, how the climate change is accelerating over time.

Scientists don't generate hype they just study the climate, the weather.

Add to that, we currently do not have the scientific technology to store vast amounts of power, from say alternative power generating sources, i.e. wind, solar, e.t.c.

There are new industrial sized batteries being developed. The Brits are developing one based on liquid salt that may have such storage capacity.

Most definitely and that is what climate science is all about.

Back in time the natural landscape was vast, and carbon sinks covered the earth. So natural variations in solar activity and CO2 emissions for example were more readily absorbed by the environment.

These days the forests have been massively reduced and the rising CO2 emissions are not being absorbed as readily. So the climate must change and start changing dramatically.

But this improved technology for storing power lags the increasing rate of CO2 emissions by a large margin.

The power load required during peak power periods in western society is enormous. The industrial and commercial demand for power is growing also. Battery storage technology is in it's infancy and we may not have the time required to develop these technologies, to match that peak load demand.

The problem is the time needed to solve the problem of increasing green house gases and climate change. I seriously doubt if we have the time available to even slow climate change.

There are peak power loads day by day that vary by season but there is always an enormous base load. With nuclear power generation we can meet that base load. Nuclear is good for steady state power generation but can't be run up or down quickly. Fossil fuels can do that. So on an interim basis use the fossil fuels only for the peak demands that nuclear can't handle.

SIGH.... what exactly do you think the temperature should be? Do you really think it should remain the same all the time? Well... I do... I would love that! 85 with no humidity during the day, a cool low 60's at night, that would be awesome. But that also isn't reality. The climate changes, that is what it does. 2500-2000 years ago there was warming to the point where glaciers melted at a very fast rate (that article is HERE). Then it got cooler, and then warmer... and then around 1450 we entered a mini-ice age and that ended in about 1850 and it has been warming up ever since. So what? That is what the Earth does and people, and the Earth, have lived through it. So will we again, it is just cycles. We need to get a grip!
There is undeniable evidence burning hydrocarbons will create higher temperatures and higher sea levels. Not everyone welcomes such changes. It is only a cycle. Hydrocarbons are finite. Given current burn rates, they will be gone, this era a fading memory. Coral reefs are dying, this is linked to nitrogen fertilizer runoff and subsequent algae blooms. People living close to Interstates have shortened lifespans due to toxic diesel and auto emissions. Toxic wastes in well water were linked to increased cancer. Most people do not want cancer, even if they do not worry three seconds about pollution.

Why worry about climate change? Especially Christians. God is the one who cursed the earth and put an expiration on it. You can't save the earth. You can't even prolong the inevitable.

In all my existence, climate change is just about at the bottom of things that concern me. In fact I don't know that it's even on the list. Just enjoy knowing that everything God has planned will happen the way He intended.

Have a hamburger, walk on the grass, go on a lovely road trip, or flight.

I agree that we should be good stewards of what God has given us. But the earth is on borrowed time because God said so. Why obsess over it?

At this point we need to be very concerned --- I don't want to be cursed by future generations 10,000 or 10,000,000 years from now.

What do we do with the nuclear waste?

Would allowing nuclear power stations to proliferate world wide greatly enhance, the threat and power of terrorist events. Could the nuclear material be converted into payloads for nuclear missiles (dirty bombs)?

Nuclear power stations take considerable time to build and are very expensive. They are also very expensive to demolish.

What is the cost overall of nuclear power generation?

Given that the third world is developing rapidly and adding to the enormous load of CO2 emissions. For example, China developed in the space of thirty years from a low emission country to the highest emitter of green house gases in the world.

Add to that, we currently do not have the scientific technology to store vast amounts of power, from say alternative power generating sources, i.e. wind, solar, e.t.c.

Thus there is no silver bullet to solve the problem of this ever accelerating climate change phenomenon.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling!

Follow the money. There are plenty of scientists who don't buy the hype, but who gets the funding?

There is rhe irony about nuclear power. In some ways it is an attractive option. It certainly reduces the CO2 problem.

But the practical reality is that it takes 10 years to bring a new reactor on line. The regulatory problems are big. In fact, many Western companies are now scaling down their nuclear energy production. This means that renewable energies (wind, solar) must try to take on a very big burden. It is possible the system could hit limits ... brownouts in electricity services.

I’ve always hated that give up and die cuz God is mad at us fatalistic attitude . It’s lazy, superstitious and ignorant . You have no idea what God’s plan for us is and just like in my messy living room , maybe He wants us to clean it up

What do we do with the nuclear waste?

There are ways to safely dispose of nuclear waste but the real problem with that is NIMBY.

Would allowing nuclear power stations to proliferate world wide greatly enhance, the threat and power of terrorist events.

Yes, that is a real concern.

Could the nuclear material be converted into payloads for nuclear missiles (dirty bombs)?

Again, a concern. Or they could be used to "burn up" fissile material from deactivated nuclear weapons as is currently taking place in Canada.

Nuclear power stations take considerable time to build and are very expensive. They are also very expensive to demolish.

True but they are way better than many of the alternatives especially coal.
