Hi, as you would have gathered, I'm new here...
Why have I joined? The bottom line is I'm hoping to find fellowship with like-minded people... I am one of those who have had the privilege of being raised a in a Christian home. I was put through a Christian Homeschooling program where I discovered the Lord for myself and heard His call to follow Him... no matter what the cost.
This led me to leaving home at a young age to serve Him in a ministry far away from home, where I've been for the last 13 years. Now, at the age of 30, the Lord has brought me into a new season where He has sent me back home to wait for Him to open the next door in my life; where like Abraham when he offered Isaac, everything I know and love is on the altar whilst I wait in faith for Him to resurrect it.
I live in Zimbabwe, which is a challenge in itself, but in the midst of economic melt down, this is the context where the Lord has called me to seek Him and find Him. It is on a national level too, that we ard holding onto His Word and waiting for resurrection.
All my life my quest has been to "flee youthful lusts and PURSUE righteousness, faith, love and holiness ALONG with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart." (2 Tim. 2:22)
I have discovered that those people are few and far between, which has what has led me to "search abroad" for undiluted fellowship where people are not afraid to "go forth to Him, outside the camp, and bear His reproach" as we, like Moses, choose the reproach of Christ rather than live in the pleasures of Egypt (Heb. 13:13, 11:25).
