Frustrated with the evil in the world

I think you may be very young. There is a story in the Bible where the disciples wanted to call down fire upon some people and Lord Jesus rebuked them.
Luke 9:
51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

It's natural to hate the evil behavior of people. If you study history, you'll realize that it has been going on since the beginning of time. There really is nothing new under the sun except for the methodology used.

I find that unless I have a way to take action in what ever arena is bothering me, it is a waste of emotional and mental energy to fret about it. God calls us to do good. As God transforms us, we have the power to transform our world in His strength. Instead of allowing anger to consume you, I think it would be much more productive to use that energy to serve people with the gifts God gave you, and to fulfill His calling for you. In that way God is glorified.

Stuff like this has been going on forever somewhere in the world it is just that we don't hear of it as much when it is in countries that are third world or not close to home in the news either as much or at all.
Man is inherently evil I believe that if let alone and not punished and encouraged to do good too many of them will do evil. It is up to the good in the world to stop evil men and it sometimes comes at a cost to good men.... their lives as sometimes it takes sending evil men to the ultimate judge to contain their evil it is so bad.
Don't let the deeds of evil men make you bitter, righteous anger is ok but sometimes we can only pray about the evil going on in the world we are powerless on our own to contain it with our own limited resources.

But thank God He did not put down the hammer before we were rescued by Him? Think on it that way. God is patient and longsuffering (2 Peter 3:9). We must emulate that attribute.

I find myself thinking very unloving thoughts towards them even though the Bible says that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Basically, I wonder how much destruction they will get away with before they either repent or get removed from the earth.
A few examples come to mind like I.S. soldiers taking Christian Yazidi women as slaves and raping them repeatedly, human traffickers who treat women as chattel and treat them mercilessly or even something as mundane as an employer who exploits their workers and encroaches on their lives or judges who hand out lax sentences and obstruct justice.

I don't mean to be a downer and this is a genuine issue I wonder about.

When I get frustrated by world violence I remember how merciful God was for saving me before judgement day. I used to desire for God to come and separate the wicked from the righteous, but I know God loves them too just as He loves me.

The best you can do is pray for our enemies and those who persecute us and others. I never make distinction, if a human being is being hurt, they need prayer. If a person is hurting someone, they need prayer as well. The thing is that sometimes we pray out of despise instead of love and justice. Not everyone who sins do it because they are letting the devil use them on purpose, but because they are a victim themselves. I am not justifying their actions, I am just saying that culture and generational and social curses play a big role.

Ps: Let no one make little of you because you are young, but be an example to the church in word, in behaviour, in love, in faith, in holy living. 1 Timothy 4:12

Well, Yazidi aren't Christians and vice versa, IS did that to both. Anyway:

One day, God is going to burn it all. Our job however, is to be ambassadors of his mercy (2 Corinthians 5:14-20). I have to remind myself of that.

All we can do is pray about such evil doers. No use getting upset, though it is good you care so much. What I personally pray about them is, "Please send out holy angels to defeat them, please 'murphy' them/confuse them and separate them and give them a holy fear of You and Your people." Since, who knows, maybe at least one could be saved, I add "Justice and/or mercy, whatever You prefer Father."

Well the Lord warned of terrible times but still the Lord will bring justice in his time. Do not worry and pray for your enemies to turn from their evil ways and turn to the Lord.

In Exodus chapter 34:6, the Bible tells us that slowness to anger and abounding in love are both characteristics of our God. God’s love and anger are like two sides of the same coin. It is all because of God’s love that His wrath was manifested upon His only Son (Jesus) on the cross of Calvary; It is all because of His love that He is angry over sin and with Satan; It is all because of His love that His anger will be manifested one day.

When the people scoffed at the fact that Jesus promised to return and he did not return during the time of Peter. Peter (in 2 Peter 3:9) tells us that the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but that all should come to repentance. The motive of true longsuffering and patience is always the glory of God.

Waiting on the Lord

I am more likely to be less tolerant of evil acts committed by those who know the truth than those who don’t.

The wickedness goes on until the last martyr is executed for their faith and testimony of Jesus. (millions of martyrs recently, and soon, as many as Yahuweh appointed and knows). \\

They cry out today/ in the past/ in the future for God's Righteous Vengeance to be Executed in Perfect Judgement.

Revelation 6:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,a]">[a] were killed just as they had been.

I use to think the Bible was all just good things happening before I became a Christian later finding out all the horrors that humanity did was done back in those days. Just look at the torture Christ went through that humans did.
