Hi, have you read those chapters with all the sacrifices to redeem the altar and so forth the offerings having to be made for all the different people, vessels and so on? It is finished for all believers for the unbelieving nothing is finished the wage of sin is still death.

One of the things we fail to understand is this is not the temple Christ will reign forever it is a thousand year temple but His Reign is forever. The Lord would never Reign in a temple that had been touched by sin and had been made out of the things of this cursed world. A new, heaven a new earth and a new spiritual temple He will reign forever from. The Gentile nations are commanded to come up to Jerusalem and its temple services. That is unbelieving Gentiles as the Bride of Christ is in heaven preparing herself for Her Husband and she does not descend either until all things are made new.

Wow you are one mixed up believer.

When Jesus comes again every unbeliever will face judgement. They will not be able to offer sacrifices etc. It will be too late.

When Jesus comes again he will make a new heaven and a new earth. There won't be any need to dedicate a temple because we will have God with us.

when you are right you are right. Of course Ezekiel doesn't think you are correct:

18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt-offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

19 Thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who are near unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord Jehovah, a young bullock for a sin-offering.

20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse it and make atonement for it.

21 Thou shalt also take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 And thou shalt bring them near before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah.

25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin-offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

26 Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

27 And when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt-offerings upon the altar, and your peace-offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord Jehovah. ez. 43

When Jesus comes again he will make a new heaven and a new earth. There won't be any need to dedicate a temple because we will have God with us.

When the Lord Jesus comes He defeats anti-Christ and the false prophet and are thrown into the Lake of Fire. Satan is locked in the Abyss and remains there for 1,000 years. During this thousand years the Gentile nations must come up to the temple who has destroyed the apostate portion of Israel. Move to a thousand years and a short time later and Satan who has been in the Abyss for a thousand years is loosed

7 And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. a 1,000 years after the Lord returned after burning the final dross out of Israel then are the Gentile nations who come against the faithful remnant of Israel at Jerusalem the nations and Satan are defeated. Then the Thrones are set in place for the great white throne judgment when all sin has been defeated then and only then do the new heaven, earth, New Jerusalem and the Bride

9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Please don’t say I am one mixed up believer. Your derision does wear well as a Christian. Thanks everything we think do or say is to be done to edify each other not to tear each other down. All though I could be one mixed up believer on this as well. Thankfully there are brothers and sisters who do lovingly seek to restore each other.

Isaiah 66:1-4 ~
This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?
My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I, the LORD, have spoken! “I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.
But those who choose their own ways— delighting in their detestable sins— will not have their offerings accepted. When such people sacrifice a bull, it is no more acceptable than a human sacrifice. When they sacrifice a lamb, it’s as though they had sacrificed a dog! When they bring an offering of grain, they might as well offer the blood of a pig. When they burn frankincense, it’s as if they had blessed an idol.
I will send them great trouble— all the things they feared. For when I called, they did not answer. When I spoke, they did not listen.
They deliberately sinned before my very eyes and chose to do what they know I despise.”

The final chapters of Isaiah, including Isaiah 66, seem to have initially been fulfilled typologically in Judah’s war with Babylon in the sixth century B.C. and its aftermath including the return of the Jews from exile in Babylon under Cyrus the Persian and the subsequent rebuilding of Jerusalem after the war sanctioned by the decree of Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. But there also seems to be an ultimate fulfillment of these verses at the end of the 2nd Temple age.

Isaiah 66:5: “Your own People who Hate you, and Exclude you [from the Synagogue] because of My Name . . .”

Isaiah 66:6: “Hear that Uproar from the City, Hear that Noise from the Temple! It is the Sound of the Lord repaying His Enemies all they Deserve.”

Quoting Dr Scott Hahn:
God is the owner and the house of Israel is the vineyard. A cherished vine, Israel was plucked from Egypt and transplanted in a fertile land specially spaded and prepared by God, hedged about by the city walls of Jerusalem, watched over by the towering Temple. But the vineyard produced no good grapes for the wine, a symbol for the holy lives God wanted for His people. So God allowed His vineyard to be overrun by foreign invaders, as Isaiah foresees in the First Reading.

Jesus picks up the story where Isaiah leaves off, even using Isaiah’s words to describe the vineyard’s wine press, hedge, and watchtower. Israel’s religious leaders, the tenants in His parable, have learned nothing from Isaiah or Israel’s past. Instead of producing good fruits, they’ve killed the owner’s servants, the prophets sent to gather the harvest of faithful souls.

In a dark foreshadowing of His own crucifixion outside Jerusalem, Jesus says the tenants’ final outrage will be to seize the owner’s son, and to kill him outside the vineyard walls.

For this, the vineyard, which Jesus calls the kingdom of God, will be taken away and given to new tenants – the leaders of the Church, who will produce its fruit.

1 Peter 2:4-11 ~
Come to the Lord Jesus, the "stone" that lives. The people of the world did not want this stone, but he was the stone God chose, and he was precious.
You also are like living stones, so let yourselves be used to build a spiritual temple -- to be holy priests who offer spiritual sacrifices to God. He will accept those sacrifices through Jesus Christ.

The Scripture says: "I will put a stone in the ground in Jerusalem. Everything will be built on this important and precious rock. Anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed." [Isaiah 28:16]
This stone is worth much to you who believe. But to the people who do not believe, "the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone."
Also, he is "a stone that causes people to stumble, a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they do not obey what God says, which is what God planned to happen to them.
But you are a chosen people, royal priests, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession. You were chosen to tell about the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
At one time you were not a people, but now you are God's people. In the past you had never received mercy, but now you have received God's mercy.
Dear friends, you are like foreigners and strangers in this world.

Well, you're not Jewish so I expect that kind of confusion.
As mentioned here earlier not all temple sacrifice deals with sins. There are many offerings not associated with sin.

However, the ones in Ezekiel brought up by the OP, that take place in the so called "Millennial temple" are indeed Sin offerings made for Atonement and acceptance. The question is WHY, and what sort of efficacy, if any, would they have, and if they are effective(and therefore necessary), how do they not therefore render Christ's perfect sacrifice null and void, ineffective and unnecessary?

The Jewish Messiah did not come to abolish Judaism.

However, The tribal system went extinct in the first century, and it did so precisely because the Jewish Messiah came and made the faith of Abraham universal to all people groups. In contrast with the Covenant of Moses, The Messiah's Covenant detached from race, from animal sacrifices, from the Temple, from the priestly class of Aaron, and from any earthly city--and it delivered this NEW judaism decades before the OLD judaism went extinct at AD 70. This proves that Christianity was of divine origin. They prophetically foresaw that the Old system was about to vanish (Heb 8:13) and history proves they were correct.

All the tribes and bloodlines were lost 20 centuries ago. Call that what you want, but that's the reality. Now, Christianity has an explanation for why this happened. The loss of the tribes, the priesthood of Aaron, the animal sacrifice, the Temple occurred because *all* people-groups were destined by God to be partakers in Abraham's faith. This prophecy of Gen 12:3 was fulfilled in the first century. (Be sure to note that Galatians 3:7-14 is the biblical interpretation of Genesis 12:3).

Modern Judaism was created long after AD 70 and has little at all in common with the religion mandated by Moses at Sinai, which the ancient Hebrews practiced from 1500 BC to AD 70. In fact, today's Talmudic Judaism is much closer to Christianity than to the religion the biblical Hebrews were required to practice. (Just read Leviticus and ask yourself, "Do any Jews today do this"?) ..and we know from scripture that there is no such thing as "Jews" that didn't follow the Torah. Such "Jews" were excommunicated from among the people of God and were considered heathen (Ex 12:14-15,19; Ex 31:14). Such a person was at that point considered a heathen and not a child of Abraham.

To follow what Moses commanded, Jews *must* be able to be reckoned by genealogy. They can no longer identify any sons of Abraham by lineage (and that's another reason why Jesus MUST be the messiah). This is precisely because the NEW covenant made with Israel was for all people groups and was no longer attached to the priestly class of Aaron or animal sacrifices. And when the NEW covenant was made, the OLD one went extinct.

Amazing History.

The NEW covenant was made with the Church of Israel. There is no "church" outside of Israel. The Church of Israel dates back to Moses (Acts 7:38) and existed throughout the OT age.

The only true Israel today with any authorized covenant is the Nazarene sect, which grew from a band of Twelve into worldwide Judaism, What we call Christianity, fulfilling the promise to Abraham (Gen 12:3/Gal 3:7-9/Rom 4:13-18).

Reconciliation is not the act of nullification.

The temple system is over. God wont be utilizing any sort of "Backward" steps in the Redemption of man.

46 And every day they devoted themselves [to meeting] together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Temple “complex?” Really? That is not in the text.
They met in the Temple. Period. Where sacrifices were taking place every day.

It depends on the version of text you are reading.

For our understanding, I believe it's much more accurately descriptive, however. It was, most definitely, a complex:

Hi tolworth, scripture teaches of a day of the Lord when HE returns defeats anti-Christ and the false prophet. This is the promise of judgment first to the Jew. One thousand years later the judgment is meted out to the Gentiles. With Satan the false prophet and anti-Christ all in hell then the Great White Throne Judgment is held when the unredeemed are judged and tossed into the LOF. Is it your understanding all these events happen on the Day of the Lord? Thanks

Scripture tells us that the Millennial Temple will once again have animal sacrifices. Your thoughts

There's no such thing as "the millennial temple".

Revelation 20:6 - Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I guess when did this 1,000 year reign with Christ happen if it has already been fulfilled or is this wrong? I believe John was not only an apostle but the disciple Jesus loved.

The historic Christian position is that the thousand years are symbolic of Christ's reign, it is an indeterminate amount of time that lasts from Christ's ascension to His return on the Last Day.

While some in the early Church believed in a literal millennium--it was notably popular among some of the theologians of the late 2nd and early 3rd century--it has largely never been a particularly widespread opinion. Largely because Millennialism requires a literal reading of the Apocalypse of St. John, and

1) The Apocalypse was hotly debated for centuries, being the most contentious book in the New Testament Canon.

2) The very nature of the text, being written in the apocalypstic genre, means treating it literally is going to be more headache than anything.

That's why generally Christians have read the Apocalypse figuratively, the first resurrection being a reference to our Baptism, the Millennium referring to Christ's reign at the right hand of the Father, and the second resurrection referring to the resurrection of the body at Christ's Parousia.

Keep in mind this is the same book that refers to the city of Rome as a prostitute riding upon a crimson beast (the imperial power structure of the Roman Empire). It refers to the Roman emperor as a beast from the sea. The devil is described as a great dragon. The text refers to man-faced locust monsters coming out of a bottomless pit. Etc.

Ez. 43- 46 seems to make this pretty clear.

Ezekiel prophesied of the return of the Jewish people from Exile. His prophecy came true with the building of the Second Temple.

The only temple that is of any meaning for us is the temple which God Himself has built, Jesus Christ and His Church.

Not so. That belief is based on the opinion that ALL animal sacrifices were for sin offerings. NOT SO at all.

But consider this: at least 2 decades AFTER the death and resurrection of our Lord, Paul and other Jewish believers still took part in Temple services including animal sacrifices. In Acts 18.18 Paul had cut his hair because of "the Vow." That would have been a Nazirite vow (which involved the hair); and could only be ended by animal sacrifices. (see Num 6 for details) In Acts 21 he finished that vow and paid for 4 other believers from the Jerusalem congregation to do the same thing.
Many Jewish believers were still in the time of reformation and transition from the Old Covenant that was fading away to the New Covenant that was in place now.

They offered sometimes the same sacrifices that can never take away sin etc

All these sacrifices and carnal ordinances were imposed on them until the time of reformation (the New Covenant).

The Old covenant was fading away ready to vanish decaying. But this decay took time and God allowed a time of transition.

Hebrews 9:9. Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;10. Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.”

Hebrews 8:13. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”

Did you read what I wrote?

"That belief is based on the opinion that ALL animal sacrifices were for sin offerings. NOT SO at all."

There were plenty of sacrifices that had NOTHING to do with sins, and therefore did NOT CONFLICT with the sacrifice of our Lord.

There were plenty of sacrifices that had NOTHING to do with sins, and therefore did NOT CONFLICT with the sacrifice of our Lord.
Hebrews 8:13. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away”

Hebrews 9:1. Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary...8. The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:9. Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;10. Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation...18. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.19. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,20. Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.21. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.22. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.23. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.”

You mean this covenant?

Jeremiah 31
New Covenant Foretold
30 “Behold, days are coming”
—it is a declaration of Adonai—
“when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah

31 not like the covenant
I made with their fathers
in the day I took them by the hand
to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they broke My covenant,
though I was a husband to them.”
it is a declaration of Adonai.

32 “But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days

—it is a declaration of Adonai—

“I will put My Torah within them.
Yes, I will write it on their heart.
I will be their God and they will be My people.

33 No longer will each teach his neighbor
or each his brother, saying: ‘Know Adonai,’
for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

it is a declaration of Adonai.

“For I will forgive their iniquity,
their sin I will remember no more.”

34 Thus says Adonai,
who gives the sun as a light by day
and the fixed order of the moon
and the stars as a light by night,
who stirs up the sea so its waves roar,
Adonai-Tzva’ot is His Name:

35 “Only if this fixed order departs from before Me”

—it is a declaration of Adonai—

“then also might Israel’s offspring cease
from being a nation
before Me—for all time.”

36 Thus says Adonai:
“Only if heaven above can be measured
and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
then also I will cast off the offspring of Israel
—for all they have done.”
It is a declaration of Adonai.

In Jeremiah 31, what does the Lord declare in regards to the new covenant. What are his New Covenant declarations above? Let me summarize the declarations below:

The Torah will be put within and written on the hearts of the house of Israel.

Every one of the house of Israel will know the Lord. Whether the least or the greatest, all will know him.

The sins of the house of Israel will no longer be remembered because the Lord will forgive all their sins.

The only possible way for Israel to stop being a physical nation of people is for the sun, moon, and star to depart from the universe.

If it were possible to measure the heavens and the foundations of the earth, THEN Israel will cease to be a nation of people to/for the Lord.

What was your premise again?? Oh yes, that all these things were fading and have probably already disappeared.... Why would you declare something so opposite from the Lord, and even use the very chapter, verses, and covenant to teach it? RED FLAG!!!

You seem to be reading something in there that I am NOT reading. Our Lord’s death was a sin sacrifice. You seem to think ALL the sacrifices were for sins.

Ezekiel prophesied of the return of the Jewish people from Exile. His prophecy came true with the building of the Second Temple.

The only temple that is of any meaning for us is the temple which God Himself has built, Jesus Christ and His Church.

So you fulfilled (or will fulfill) your marriage vows by not following them once you accepted them as fulfilled? When I promised to be faithful, honor, and support my wife in my ketubah I wasn't aware that now after fulfilling this vow actually meant I don't have to abide by the vows any longer.
My marriage vows weren't a shadow of anything to come as the Old Testament was. That's a false equivalence.
