When I was suspended over the lake of fire I knew the fear of the Lord. I wanted a pure heart from that moment in a stronger way that I had ever wanted that before. Of course Christ was making that possible in ways that I probably still don’t understand and that was about 30 years ago. I absolutely knew the truth that Christ was very real and God The Father was very real and God The Holy Spirit was very real. I had always professed those truths but the reality of those truths was very much more real at that time and has been ever since. Many more events happened after that and continue to happen into my old age. Miracles just like what The Bible teaches are one example.

You should have a new understanding of The Word of God that follows;

Mal.3 Verses 1 to 3

[1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
[2] But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
[3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

The lake of fire is reserved for judgement, where the unrepentant will be. It is final. There is no hope or grace. The door to grace is closed and those who are sentenced to the lake of fire are there for eternity. There is no "hope" or "cleansing" for all of those in it are unrepentant and condemned.

It's final.

That is why Jesus Himself said that now is the time...today is the day of salvation.

Sadly the 1st 19 chapters of Revelation involve the 1st century Jews and their City/Temple.

The gentiles/nations are only mentioned coming against the "harlot", 1st century Jerusalem.
Now if only we can get the Jews and more Christians of today to believe it...

Neither did I say that it cleanses. I was never in the lake of fire only suspended over the lake of fire which for me expedited my very sincere desire for cleansing.
