Positional sanctification
---- God “sets apart” believers to be sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Progressive sanctification -- God tries to sanctify BACs through the Holy Spirit.
But since BACs are not robots, they need to choose to co-operate with Him.

First, let’s deal with the co-operation issue

“God’s will is for you to be holy … live in holiness and honor
… God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.
So, anyone who refuses to live by these rules
is rejecting God.” (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8)

“God has given us everything we need to live a godly life …
work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen …
It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it
and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life” (2 Peter 1:3,1:10, 2:21)

BACs have been given everything they need to live a holy life:
they are new creations in Christ, they have the Holy Spirit,
they have the whole counsel of God (the Bible),
they have been set free from being slaves of sin, etc.

“God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness …
work at living a holy life, for those who are NOT holy will NOT see the Lord …
Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking.”
(Hebrews 12:10-25)

Paul is writing to “the faithful” (1:1) believers in Ephesus

“Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us
in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes
.” (Ephesians 1:4)

“… throw off your old sinful nature … Put on your new nature,
created to be like God – truly righteous and holy.” (Ephesians 4:22-24)

“He did this to present her (the church) to himself as a glorious church
without spot or wrinkle or any other blemish.” (Ephesians 5:27)

Some other NT verses about the BAC's responsibility to be holy

“For I want you to understand what really matters,
so that you may live pure and blameless lives” (Philippians 1:10)

“For God saved us and called us to live a holy life.” (2 Timothy 1:9)

“He chose them to become like his Son (i.e. righteous and holy)” (Romans 8:29)

“… work towards complete holiness because we fear God” (2 Corinthians 7:1)

“… teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.” (Titus 1:1)

I get it from the NT ... Try reading it, you might like it.

I do read it but it doesn't sound anything like what you say it says, can't imagine where you get that stuff from, I guess it's because yours is written in Canadian or something.
