2 Corinthians 3:3 (NASB)
being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
“being manifested~~~~~written with the Spirit of the living God”
As believers, Christ is being written in us by the Spirit of God Himself. This is a real and an actual growth in the heart and life of a new life and a new nature, and this can not be done by the hand of man himself.
For all growth in Christ is an actual increase of the manifestation of God in the life of the believer. This manifestation is done inwardly that outwardly it might be manifested and read by all.
That it might be seen as a life and heart change, a change from unrighteousness to righteousness. From a elevation of self, which is what all sin is. To a humble and a total resignation to God in all things. For we are dealing with The Living God, who is interested in all things in our life’s, from the small to the large.
This manifestation is the Divine Nature coming to birth and growth and maturing in the heart of those that are willing.
We have access to this Living God by the faith of the heart turned towards Him. This is a real faith, in the real and living God. This is a hope and a continual looking away from ourselves to Him, that we might receive all good things through faith, from this God who is a living presence in our hearts.
A life of faith we have been called to. A life of trust, a life of hope, a life of total resignation to God. A life that is contrary to the spirit of this world. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life have no place in the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore they are to have no place in the life that is resigned to Him. Righteousness in all things is to be our goal. Righteousness in the pleasant as well as the non-pleasant things.
This Living God who has called us unto Himself has not spared His own Son to procure our salvation. Let us as those that would willingly enter in, strive to have Him written and manifested in our hearts that all may see that our faith is not vain, for it’s hope is in the Living God.
For God is good in all things and is trustworthy to perfect that which concerns us.
Be blessed in Christ, Not me
