A very close friend of mine has gone through religions and paganism and is now into Quakers. This friend doesn't read the Bible and still deals with the occult whilst still praying to God. I'm not being judgemental at all but I'm genuinely concerned that the being she is praying to, and apparently receiving answers from is not of God. I hope I'm wrong. This friend has a business involving magick and tarot etc and is not willing to let it go as its earning her money. She is proud of the fact that Quakers are good people and now "belongs" to them and attends meetings regularly. I cant help but wonder if shes pulled to quakerism as they see nothing wrong with any practices their members have, many of which go against bible teachings. I do pray for her but is that enough?

First of all, there is nothing wrong in forming an accurate and correct judgement about a situation or about a person.
It is false superfical judgements we are warned against.
Your friend is playing with fire and is going against clear commands from God to have nothing to do with magic, seaunces etc etc.
That she has gravitated to a group that does not challenge her believes and practices is telling, she knows what she is doing is wrong.

What can you do. Pray for her. If you have the oppertunity talk to her.
May I suggest not about the occult but about Jesus, who he is, what he has done, what he means to you.

What else can you do?
I do know one thing for sure (from experience) ...
before God will heal someone (physically, mentally, emotionally),
he/she must REPENT of all involvement in the occult.
That means confessing all involvement ... and STOP doing it (all of it).

And ditto for unforgiveness!
Unfortunately she thinks she's doing nothing wrong. Each time I have tried to talk to her about God and Jesus she shuts me down rather aggressively. I have prayed for her but she refuses to believe in God per say, but rather as an energy. Jesus doesnt even exist in her vocabulary

Hi. I have prayed for her and have tried to talk to her about Jesus and what He has done for me but shows very little interest. I dont know what else to do to be honest

What I have actually realised and feel is that, I believe, God has been leading me away from this friend and now another of her friends has in effect taken my place. I say I believe this because I've slowly been growing away from this friend of 50 years. I rarely see her and know deep down I probably wont again although she has stated she is coming down in October to scatter her parents ashes. October is going to be an extremely busy time for me as I have a grandson due, birthdays and also the very upsetting anniversary of the loss of my little brother so not willing to put anything off to see her. I love her, 50 years is a long time, but I dont like her. Confusing maybe but I dont miss her. Thats sad I admit but there it is. I still chat over the phone but its very strained and almost like talking to an acquaintance as opposed to someone I used to call sister. I will pray God reveals Himself to her and that she opens her heart to see Him in all His wonderful glory

Then maybe you should bring things to a head by pointing out that God forbids his people to have anything to do with the occult.
That as it says in Hebrews 'without faith ( that is belief in Jesus as savoiour) it is impossible to please God.

To warn her that if she rejects Jesus, it is not that she will be condemned but that she already is. John3:18.

I personally think she has gone way too far and believes nothing but her own truth. One discussion we had about the devil and her response was that "satanists aren't evil, just misled" I was stumped
