So, it is not a science book... Yet people will go to the bible to state "the bible does not describe a FE".... However, these people will not allow others to say "The bible does not describe a spherical spinning ball" without being told the worn out retort of "The bible is not a science book.

Of course it's not... An inland sea parting down the middle to reveal dry ground... not scientific.
Marching around a city, blowing horns, and the walls fall down... Not scientific
The sun and moon stopping in the sky... Not scientific
A man getting strong due to never cutting his hair.... Not scientific
A virgin,,, getting pregnant, in those days... Not scientific.
A man healing his hand, sick with leprosy, by dipping it in a river seven times... Not scientific.
A talking donkey, snake.. Not scientific.
Men, being thrown into a furnace and not being burned... Not scientific.
Men in chains, having them fall off... not scientific

This doesn't even begin to touch on the events of the bible that are not scientific..

Guess they are not true.... because the Bible is not a science book.

Oh but wait...

Washing your hands in running water.. totally scientific and beyond knowledge at that time.
The Scriptures speak of Invisible Structure Hebrews 11:3. Science has recently discovered the universe is made of atoms, whereas scripture knew of this for 2,000 years.
The Bible and the Science of Oceanography Psalm 8:8. Ray tells a story about Matthew Maury (1806 - 1873), who is considered the father of oceanography and discovered many things after reading this Bible verse.
The Bible and Radio Waves Job 38:35. Ray says this verse tells that light can be sent and manifest itself in speech.
The Bible and Entropy Isaiah 51:6, Psalm 102:25, 26 and Hebrews 1:11 indicate the earth is wearing out, and concludes this is about the Second Law of Thermodynamics
The Bible and the Water Cycle Ecclesiastes 1:7. He also points out Ecclesiastes 1:3 and Amos 9:6.
The Book of Job and Air Mass Only a single quote is provided for this piece: “Scripture tells us in Job 28:25 that there is ‘a weight for the wind.’ Long before it was recognized that the air had weight (sixteenth century)
The Book of Job and Springs of the Sea Another quote from Gunther (that's it!): “Modern deep-sea-diving cameras have discovered amazing hot-water vents on the floor of the oceans
The Bible and the Immune System Comfort says the following: The Bible instructs that male babies are to be circumcised on the eighth day (Genesis 17:12). Medical science has now discovered that this is the day that the coagulating factor in the blood, called prothrombin, is the highest
There's "Science" and then there's "Sacred Science".

It would be something not to get religious about, imho.
But our bodies do express some imperfection... unless you can make my car run on urine. (lol)
That isn't an example of imperfection, but rather of specialization.

Given that, the natural world (including our bodies) is not perfect. I have one shoulder which is higher than the other, and suffer from allerigies to pollen.

Screener I think it’s a background called common sense which everyone has the right to use. Why do you ask.

The title of the thread is the reason for the question.

Lab Coat Syndrome and an undying trust of anything "official and academic." Billions of dollars in quantum research, alternative propulsion, and other technologies, and the civilian still uses 20th century technology - namely combustion tech.

The US alone declassified scores of documents that show the details of alleged conspiracy of the past. People who "debate" tend to ask their debate partners to put in the work they should put in - just to dismiss it. So, of course the population is gullible. All you have to do is wear a lab coat and walk up to someone and tell them something, or declare and show credentials and suddenly you are trustworthy. Soon, your social media status will be the determining factor. This ignores the fact that humans are humans, of course (i.e. we lie, murder, and covet), and it makes each person who buys into this psychology intellectually lazy and destitute.

But, they will call it being learned. It is exactly why we are degenerate, but believe we are progressing. It is why people can't understand how compartmentalized entities work to deceive entire nations, and why they avoid negativity (and react in an expected knee-jerk way when confronted with it.) It is why some people - No matter how intelligent - will ever "wake up".

It is why the world burns while people dance to the music of their demise - while reviling and rejecting every warning and cry for help. Area 51 used to be woo, now thousands are going to the physical location... all of those people dismissed and derided in the past talking about area 51 - when the population was too learned to believe it. Now, we are another 40 years behind progress because of the unnessary incredulity of things too big to understand, especially things people are scared to think exists.

And, that is the problem really: these "conspiracies" are too big for what society says one is allowed to entertain. This is a personal issue; don't let anyone who can't understand compartmentalized systems, or someone who can't research documents to come to argue prepared tell you that you don't know what you are talking about. They are trying to convince themselves through logic, failing to realize logic is a handicap of human creation for the purposes of binding things that cannot be bound.

There's "Science" and then there's "Sacred Science".

Many of us have taken this ("grad" and "postgrad" algebra and geometry) without realizing it. This sugary pop academia for civilians is ridiculously degenerate, behind in almost every aspect, and people are eating it up. In about 30 years, hopefully popular academia can finally tell everyone the truth about things... but I doubt civilians would know anything that hasn't been tested and used on the clandestine sector first.

We get hand-me-downs of technology, and if we trust our officials and academics more than our own reasoning brains, we also get hand-me-down science - so twisted and wrong that it takes a generation to "unlearn" it.

You should've heard them clucking this morning. I can't tell if they're bragging about just laying or yelling at the broody hen to quit hogging the favorite box. I'm working on a theory, tho. ;)

I agree about the questions of health and circumcision.. however, God designed us to be in a perfect world.... then sin entered. Could be that infection and other complications are part of the fallen world.

All I know is that I saw my buddy go through it in is early teens... so, that answered the "if" when it came to my children.

These, ... plus your other examples, ... are prime examples of the Bible not being a scientific tome.

The Bible is, primarily, supernatural ... science deals in the natural.

Which is not to say that the hints of the natural world are not occasionally found in scripture. The point is that it's not the focus of the Biblical message to explain the natural world. Such is clearly the case, given the vast amount of knowledge we have acquired about the natural world ... which the Bible only hints at.
My examples of "science" in the bible... are of things that man could not have known about, which were later discovered... scientific things. This nullifies the counter argument on the flat or globe earth... on either account.... based on the too often used nothing burger... "the bible isn't a science book"

It's weak and usual used when people have no other support or evidence for their view.

The bible, yes, is not a science book... It doesn't talk of aerodynamics, or stoichiometry... It does talk of things that are scientific. These things have been proven to be true.

One day, all will be revealed... The arrogant self proclaimed "wisdom" of men will be shown to be foolishness... I think that this applies to much of the "theoretical" science that is never applied to actual life here on earth.. Just talk among those of higher "education" in immense mathematical formulae that only a handful of living people understand.

I also believe that anything that is discovered by these atheistic egg heads, that leans one bit toward a creator, intelligent design, the flaws of evolution or any other strong hold of their godless religion of "science".......would be hidden, destroyed, hushed, muted or in some other manner cloaked and shrouded so that mankind was to never find out.....

Yea he's good. If you're interested in some fascinating historical research into the occult of trans, check out Vicki S YT channel, especially this one if you have time.

She's not Christian, and some of her tranvestigations go a little far imho, but awesome info and speculations.

There is a whole bunch of chatter about vaccinations. I know that they do work.. However, why do they have all that toxic stuff in it.. Mercury and other carcinogens.

A nurse, who knows medicine, refused to get injected with the stuff that was in the vaccination... She was being forced to in order to work but said that these were poisons and if she was to inject them, on their own, into a patient, she would get fired.

Anyway, that's a subject for another thread.....

You bring up an excellent point: the layperson and learned who are against vaccines realize the raw idea works: stress your body u set specialized conditions on order to produce a favorable (immune) response. If you work out to build muscle or endurance, of you do any type of training - this is what is happening.

The rationale behind using such dangerous "additions" is because usually the body won't respond favorably "enough" to the dead or damaged virus alone (it is just protein/code). So, adding adjuvants is justified since it causes the body to have an immune response to the other foreign junk (and the virus becomes collateral evil to the body).

The idea of a vaccine is as crude as you go the gym, ripping your muscles (risking massive injury) to produce more/better muscle and athleticism. It works, but today you can implant - even target hormones and genetic code to develop muscle (e.g. androgenics).

There are crude ways to gain immunity, but we also have better ways of gaining immunity (i.e. cure). You are right, another thread could be made based on this topic.
