Alabama residents! Be on the lookout for the Army Corps of Engineers cutting trees down and knocking down buildings.
The President still plotting payback for Sessions not firing Mueller, huh?

The only reason there is still discussion over this is because Trump himself keeps bringing it up. He never learned the fine art of letting things go.
The only thing he ever let go of was a couple of wives he tired of. Sorry, the set up was too tempting.

Bill Clinton would be proud.

The storm was moving away from Alabama. There’s no way that represents an elevated risk.
He did NOT have forecast relations with that hurricane!

Praying for a quick recovery for the people of Alabama who lost everything in the devastating hurricane.
It is done! The Chosen One (Trump, not Saban) has saved the Crimson Tide.

Never stand between a Narcissist and his weather forecasting.....unless, of course, you are the National Weather Service:

NWS Birmingham‏Verified account @NWSBirmingham
Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian. We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama. The system will remain too far east. #alwx

NWS Birmingham on Twitter

Four days later, the POTUS is still refusing to admit he was wrong.

I think it's accurate to state the NWS has NEVER had to correct comments by the POTUS.
If you want to be ultra technical in your Trumpese language defense....the tweets never mentioned Trump therefore we don't really know who EXACTLY they're correcting, OR if you don't know any context, they're not correcting anybody at all!

I know it's not that big a deal. Even the 57 states comment by Obama wasn't a big deal.
The concerning fact is that the MSM media set it up as a gotcha, when clearly it wasn't.

No, the initial tweet wasn’t a huge deal. The bigger deal is Trump and all his fans lying to the rest of us about how he didn’t make a mistake.

Yes, Obama flubbed with the 57 states comment. He obviously meant to say 47. The difference between the two situations is that Obama’s fans didn’t spend the next several days pretending that he was correct in saying 57 because he was looking ahead to when DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, and a bunch of other protectorates would become states.

Ummmm....... why would anyone want to evacuate to Alabama for any reason?:ebil:

Lol.

In all serious though I know folks who were in Tuscaloosa & Birmingham back in 2011 when the tornadoes were devastating. On account of that ever since then if there's the slightest bit of warning to get out of Dodge, they're going to do it.

Donald's selfishness on this is indescribably terrible leadership.

Right, the NWS could have been correcting Joe the plumber. ^_^

The real pity of it is that survivors of the Bowling Green Massacre moved to Alabama for a fresh start, only to lose everything in the devastating hurricane there.

Oh we laugh but just imagine how much money could be saved if we showed Donald a sharpie border wall & convinced him it was real, that he'd gotten Mexico to build it after all.

EVERY hurricane tracking prediction is a shot in the dark. Nobody really knows where they're going and what impact they will have. It wasn't a zero percent chance that the hurricane would cross the state of Florida into the Gulf of Mexico.
Then, after you said it wasn't a nobody knows scenario, you say that models change on a daily/hourly basis. I agree with you, but you contradicted yourself.
I know it's not that big a deal. Even the 57 states comment by Obama wasn't a big deal.
The concerning fact is that the MSM media set it up as a gotcha, when clearly it wasn't.

Of course the "57" states comment President Obama made wasn't a big deal whatsoever. For the past 11 years some folks have beaten every dead horse they can find to keep bringing it up, failing to understand that it only reflects better on him. To have to stretch back that far to talk about a non-issue gaffe. It's certainly not on par with Trump "congratulating" Poland after blowing off the trip there to monitor Dorian, then playing golf & having meltdowns about an actress and a gaffe he made.

Nobody would give a diddly dang about Trump including Alabama if he had just been a man about it. Just either acknowledged he was wrong or just shut up about it. He was wrong. The National Weather Service corrected him on it, pretty darn tactfully. Of course the news reported on it. This wasn't just a slip up Donald made while tired on a campaign trail. This is literally a life or death situation. Folks don't deserve to be in unneeded fear worrying they're going to be in the path of a hurricane on account of Donald being careless. But he'd much rather have folks exactly in that position than to admit he was wrong. However, once that was reported on, everybody else would have moved on if Donald had. Yet he hasn't. That's what shows extraordinary weakness of character & total failure of leadership. That's what makes him look foolish and pathetic. While most reasonable-minded folks are focused on where the hurricane is headed right now, putting all needed attention on that, what is Donald doing? Pulling out maps from a week ago, which were already outdated when he made his dumb Alabama comment. He's retweeting things from a week back, from well before his tweet, about Alabama, causing confusion and fear. Does he give a diddly dang about that? Sure doesn't act like it. People are dying, people are terrified. GOOD people are out there doing their absolute best to help out the victims. To help keep things as calm & orderly as possible in the chaos. What is Donald doing? Stirring up strife. Over and over again. Gobbling up attention to put it on what is absolutely trivial. Why? What that does that serve? His pride. Nobody is to blame except Donald Trump. Well, and everybody who enables & cheers on this reckless and reprehensible behavior. He's made himself look worse with every single Tweet. With his relentless obsession over something that as you acknowledge had been trivial to begin with. He's not going to get an apology on account of how he's not owed one. He can sit there with his bottom lip sticking up, arms crossed, little boy tantrum style, sulking on Twitter all day long & he won't be due an apology. He keeps making himself look worse. He makes our country look bad to boot, where people around the world are looking at him making this spectacle of himself during a disaster.

Among the ruins of the fake Russian collusion controversy, they have been reduced to complaints about the president warning citizens of the potential path of a hurricane.
I cannot help but admire your efforts to find something to say in defense of the Chosen One, Comrade. “They didn’t indict him” is a staunch defense. Keep the faith!

You sound just like Donald Trump tweeting.....while complaining about Trumps tone.

The response to loosing the election has been far worse than Trump. Emphasizing how things look and feel and weather or not Socialist countries "like us" isn't leadership.

The truth is that the secular totalitarian state hates any (R).
