irrelevant.

I spread the gospel and more, directly, by communicating with Jews on the internet at their sites, and their you tube videos.

Ask any Jew you want, if he/she has heard of Jesus?

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The following is not "irrelevant".

Large numbers of young Israelis are ignoring Orthodox Judaism, and are looking for the truth.

The speaker below is from a Bible college in central Israel, made up of believers from both Arab, and Jewish backgrounds.

There are now about 30,000 Messianic Jews in the modern State of Israel, and the growth seems to be exponential.

Dr. Michael Brown supports this organization. Would that fact be "irrelevant".

Paul charged every gentile who believes in Jesus to "make them jealous." Rom 11.11

If I ask you if you have ever heard of Buddha or Odin or Zeus, you would say yes and immediately understand I am talking about a false religion. There is probably little anyone who is a follower of any of those religions could do to make you jealous, because you know it is NOT your belief system.

But we are charged with making Jews jealous which means they must recognize what we have is actually THEIRS and has been all along. Communicating on the internet will not do that.

,
I agree with you concerning the particular passage of acts.
However concerning Fathers of the Ekklesia, Paul was one of the earliest of the fathers.
2Ti 1:2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
Tit 1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus
Thank for bringing that up....Go Paul!

1 Corinthians 4:
14I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children. 15Even if you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.
16Therefore I urge you to imitate me. 17That is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus,a which is exactly what I teach everywhere in every church.

2 Corinthians 12:14b-15 – Paul as Father

In the Corinthian letters, Paul uses parent/child metaphors frequently, more than in any other of his letters. One reason for this is his desire to avoid patron/client language, but also because the family relationship reflects the body of Christ. If we are indeed new creations in Christ, then the image of brothers and sisters in Christ becomes the driving factor in our relationships with each other. Paul did not want to create a hierarchy in which he was the distant father figure who dispensed prestige and honor to his children, nor did he want the church to think Paul was a poor relative in need of assistance!

Within the metaphor, Paul is the patron/father figure who is doing everything he can to create an environment where the Corinthian children can grow to maturity and contribute to the family for themselves. Looking ahead to the next generation, they will “have children” and the church’s responsibility is to maintain and grow the wealth and honor of the family so they too can grow to maturity.

Paul is willing to spend everything he has for the church because he loves them as his dear children. Paul sees his relationship with the church in terms of a family in which he is like a parent and the church are children. He does not want to accept patronage from the church because it changes the relationship and would give the Corinthian church certain privileges over Paul.

This is a powerful image of the relationship of a pastor and congregation. While Paul does want churches to care for the needs of the people who serve in the church, his model for ministry is a caring parent who does everything to give the children want they need to succeed. Pastors who considered the local church their personal kingdom or use the church to enhance their own wealth and prestige have failed to follow the model Paul gives here in 2 Corinthians or the model of humble service demonstrated by Christ.

That is the LORD's will and it will be done thru-out the coming ages of the ages as it has been since the 1st century,
The End spoken of in the OT was the End of the OC Mosaic Levitical Temple worship in 70ad.
We get the Jews to believe that, I am sure they will come running to their Messiah Jesus.

Deuteronomy 32:
20 He said: “I will hide My face from them; I will see what will be their end. For they are a perverse generation—children of unfaithfulness.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; They have provoked me to anger with their vanities:
And I will move them[OC] to jealousy<7065> with those[NC] that are not a people;
I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

Jeremiah 5
1 “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.
21 Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:

Matthew 21:43
Therefore I am saying to ye, that the Kingdom of the God shall be being taken-away from ye and it shall be being given to a Nation doing the fruits of it.

Romans 10:19
I ask instead: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: "I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation;
I will make you angry by a nation without understanding.

=========================
OC Mosaic Judaism will always be the "TAIL" into the ages of the ages.......

Deu 28:44
“He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

Isa 9:14
Therefore the LORD will cut off head and tail from Israel,
Palm branch and bulrush in one day.
Isa 9:15
The elder and honorable, he is the head;
The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

========================

Deuteronomy 32:
20 He said: “I will hide My face from them; I will see what will be their end.
For they are a perverse generation—children of unfaithfulness.

Rev 6:16
and they said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

History records few events more generally interesting than the destruction of Jerusalem, and the subversion of the Jewish state, by the arms of the Romans. -- Their intimate connexion with the dissolution of the Levitical economy, and the establishment of Christianity in the world ; the striking verification which they afford of so many of the prophecies, both of the Old and New Testament, and the powerful arguments of the divine authority of the Scriptures which are thence derived
