The Catena Bible site (and app) are a tremendous resource containing historic commentary from the Church Fathers, the Byzantine Fathers and the Western Fathers. Take a look!

You can change the translation in the settings to the right.

Thanks. The linked version seems to be KJV. If it is, i'd prefer not to change it.

I had never heard of a Catena Bible.

The default bible seems to be "king james version 2000". So it should be kjv with modernized words, but no other changes. They also have the World English Bible which I use a lot. It appears all their translations are either Received Text or Byzantine/Majority Text based.

Edit: The term "catena bible" apparently refers to an arrangement of commentaries. In the settings I see they have commentaries from early church fathers, eastern church fathers, and western church fathers. But so far I don't see how to display the commentary information.

Ok, solved that. Just click on a verse and commentaries on that verse are shown in a window on the right.

I find it strange that the site doesn't seem to have an about page or explanations. It does appear to be useful. There are apps for apple and android devices; maybe those include descriptive information. It seems this was prepared for those who know exactly what a catena bible is. Yours truly not among them, I had never heard of such a thing until now.
