Not sure exactly what you mean by doubt, but something C.S. Lewis said came to me.

In essence he remarked that when he was an atheist, he would have moments where Christ and the Gospel would seem plausible. After becoming a believer he noted that at times the truth he now believed would appear to him as absurd!

The "foolishness" of what is preached IS absurd to the world that is always attacking us/falsely cozying up to us

Understand we have enemies in heavenly realms and our battle is spiritual (see Ephesians). Put on your armor.

I used to think often of the man pleading with Jesus for his child. "I believe; help my unbelief." If you're like me, things really will get better and faith will still be an issue, but, it will get better.

Lord bless Hunter Payton and this prayer, Lord clear the doubt and bless Hunter Payton, in Jesus gracious name, Amen!

Col 4:16 should have been Colossians 3:16
