That is who the governing authority was when he wrote,

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." Romans 13:1 NKJV
Well, the Roman Empire was more than the emperor. Paul doesn't mention Caesar but governing authorities, which is plural and could mean many positions in the Empire.

I still don't know where you got your psychology degree though. I'm not sure why this is so difficult for you to answer. Surely you remember where you obtained your degree in psychology. I would imagine that was an important milestone in your life, after all.

Come to that, I'm not sure where those people got their degrees either. I wonder if they're members of the American Psychiatric Association. I also wonder if they're aware of section 7 of the Principles of Medical Ethics. Hmm...
I guess the racist talking points did not work...again... so recycle all the internet “psychologists” again and see if that formerly failed approach may work again.

I watched the clip. And the "I am the chosen one" was in response to the issue of who's going to take on China. Along with the statement prior to that which Trump stated that someone should have done this before.

Yeah, he turns away and looks at the sky. (Yeah, so I guess I'm the chosen one....) I don't think it had anything to do with Scripture, or some declaration or anything like that.

Then again - all these people in Israel are calling Trump the modern Cyrus!

The Trump Temple coins that changed the world – now in silver

Want to talk about "self fulfilling prophecy"? If that doesn't scare you. It should!

Barack Obama once said, "a light will shine down from somewhere...you will experience an epiphany, and you will say to yourself, “I have to vote for Barack”’ This was pretty much swept under the rug,
How soon they forget.. Lol. No, it was not swept under the rug because the McCain campaign used that quote in ads against Obama which many evangelicals took as proving their Antichrist accusations against him. They were offended by his supposed claim to be the sent sent from God, which he never said but will they find the same disgust in Trump's claim?

I would be careful in taking this too far. God opposed a lot of evil rulers in the OT. It only applies as far as conscience allows. If an authority calls for immoral practices from us, we are not obligated to obey.

Again, I am not concerned about the "reaction." It is not like your salvation is depending on it. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. People will use it as anecdotal evidence for or against their preconceived positions on politics. But, this will run its news cycle and we will move on to the next "outrage" distracting people from real issues.

Who said mine was but that is not what the OP asks. I asked what people thought about his actions. The right condemned the left the far less than what Trump did and and right wing pundits would have been screaming Anti-christ if a Democrat made the remark.

I though President Trump complained about the way they said no, not that they said no we will not sell.

“I thought it was a very not nice way of saying something. They could have told me no,”
...for someone who goes out of his way to be as rude as possible to everyone who's, well, not a bloody handed dictator (those guys? he really loves them), President Trump sure is quick to take umbrage about pretty much everything. :sorry:
tulc(wonders if the Danish leader should just send President Trump a flattering letter? that seems to work for North Korea)

My remark wasn't meant at either you or the OP. I was just making a statement about how it isn't worth the attention it gets. People who hate Trump will be like, "See, see, I told you he's ________." Supporters will be like, "Ha, that's Trump being Trump." And then the next shooting, natural disaster, global crisis, etc, will occur and everybody will forget about this until it shows up in a campaign ad or something. And, yet another thread on here will emerge on the latest news event. Anyway, God bless.

Its hard to believe trump was put there by God. I highly doubt that God would put a racist pro abortion bigot who claims to be God in power. Unlike the British Royal family. At least they live somewhat Godly lives. Trump is just... Idk...
A pro abortion bigot.

He just defunded Planned Parenthood, the biggest abortion provider in the US.

Someone is way off base.

funny you should mention the free world as we now have concentration camps . As far as why Denmark might be important. I suggest you look at a map and see how close Russia is to it .which is probably why we have a military base in Denmark

I understand and respect your perspective, but my personal perspective is that God allowed Donald Trump to be elected in order to begin His divine judgment against the Christian Church in the U.S. I don't know if God will begin His divine judgment against the United States as a nation soon or not.

Concentration camps. ^_^

You must watch fake news.

As far as Denmark, there is no reason for him to rush over there. He will probably go sometime. Nothing wrong with the country, but there is not a pressing problem or need.

I would say that President Trump isn't wrong when he claims that God put him in the Presidency.

In the sense that God put Kim Jong Il in charge of Korea.

Just a tongue in cheek comment I wouldn't take it seriously.

I doubt if anyone takes seriously anything Trump says these days. His tweets are getting more and more unhinged each day.

You think this is normal behavior? I don’t , it’s extremely immature just because the PM told him no he can’t have it.

He's used to be surrounded by hirelings who never tell him he can't have anything. If you lived like that, you'd be immature and unstable, too.

It sure didn't look tongue in cheek. Even if it was Trump looking up to heaven while making to claim is quite insensitive. Christians just should not make lite of such things. I know he isn't much as far as his faith goes but he should know better.
