All that’s left is for Trump to stand up and make these very claims in a rebuilt Jewish temple and.... Viola!
We have the Man of Sin/ Son of perdition, Beast and antichrist all rolled into one...

And right wing evangelicals will completely ignore the Bible and stand in line to Worship at his feet while he places his mark on their Hands and foreheads...

God doesn't work by logic, He works by what He already said in His Word. That's why we are to read and study what He has said. The Word of God is more current than tomorrows newspaper.
God is not stupid. Neither is logic.

Yes, I'm Jewish. My question was simple. But you have made a bunch of claims previously without even a hint of how to back them up. Satan leading whatever. I imagine Satan leads stuff when you don't like it, and He leads stuff when you do.
Hey, what do you know about Jewish stuff? Since when does being Jewish make you know something about Jews. Really.

Nope, afraid you are wrong! Trump posted the King of the Jews remarks in the first post saying nothing. Then he posted the other remarks thanking Root for the nice words.

You're not reading it correctly. Aside from "Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words" and "Wow!", the rest of it is quoting Root.

OK. Still doesn't make a bit of sense for him not to understand Jewish tradition.

Unless he's ethnically/culturally Jewish turned evangelical Christian and no one ever taught him what religiously Jewish people actually thought about Jesus.

It certainly doesn't make sense that Root would choose the words "king of the Jews" or "second coming", which makes me think that he doesn't really get the implications for Christianity either.

Really? So China’s on going kerfuffle with Taiwan, India’s conflict with Pakistan and the 2 Korea situation is because of Israel?

The scripture says that Israel will be saved, they will come to Christ in great mourning.

But it will take the destruction Zechariah spoke of for Israel to come to their knees. He further stated 14:2, that God will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. Half the city will be taken, but then the Lord returns to save Israel from total doom. Zechariah said that Israel will see face to face the" one they pierced/crucified." Then begins the great mourning.

How can this happen while the greatest military the world has ever seen guards over Israel? It can't.

Jesus said in Matt. 24 there will be wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom. All this is preparation of the nations for war. The missing element is the anti-christ who will lead them.

What is happening around the world is preparation to fulfill the Word of God concerning Israel. What part America plays in this, the scripture is silent.

If the liberals have their way, America will desert Israel, leaving Zechariah's words an open path for the nations of the world.

Zech 14:2 (or 12:10 in our scripture) is one of those passages that Jews and Christians completely disagree on the translation of. It's pretty interesting because the grammar supports both interpretations.

It also supports Revelation 19 when the Lord returns and destroys the anti-christ and his army. The same is true with Ezekiel 38, another account of the same battle.

We agree a battle against Israel happens, but we do not believe in the antichrist. Nor do we follow anything in the New Testament, obviously.

Yes, I'm aware of that. Have you ever considered that the Man, Jesus, is who He claims to be? That He came the first time in peace to pay the sin debt of man, but will indeed return the second time to deliver Israel as a Man of war?

Considered? Sure. I've spent a long time studying the Tanakh and I do not believe the New Testament lines up with it. So after consideration and study, I find it lacking.

Not so for me. Some 40 years ago I went with a friend to an old country church here in NC. I listened to a preacher, an old man, tell about God taking on the body of man to go to the cross to pay my sin debt. He said, none of us could pay that debt, God would only accept perfection for the price of sin. Then He said, the Son said to the Father, I will go and pay that debt. And so He did.

I began to tremble sitting in the pew, I couldn't hold back the tears. That's the day the Holy Spirit revealed to me I was a sinner in need of a Saviour. He revealed to me the true living Christ, as Paul said, the One who loved me and gave Himself for me.

That was a long time ago, and I have never doubted Him since.

I have found nothing in the Tanakh demanding perfection for the forgiveness of sin.

You don't accept the NT so let's go to the OT.

I'm sure you are aware that the sin offering of the Law required an animal without a blemish. When the animal was killed, if a blemish of any kind was found, it required another sacrifice in its place. Do you know why that sacrifice had to be perfect?

In any sacrifice, not just sin, the animal was unblemished because it was the best of the ones available. People were to sacrifice the choice of the animals not the weak and sick.
