Please tell us what you did to become a Christian. Most people have NO idea how to get to Heaven. Can you tell us?

Not interested.

It's a test I like which separates those who claim to be Spiritual from those who believe a counterfeit religion/group's view. It's really hard to find someone who can actually tell us the way to Heaven. Anyone?

No.

According to Wikipedia, a bellybutton is a scar, and God didn't create a universe with scars.

That was a bit careless of him, seeing as scars are part of the normal healing process.

...God didn't create a universe with scars.

Citation required.

Also, can you please explain to me how you determined that the passage in the Bible that refers to the moon as female was speaking in a literary sense and not a literal sense?

Lucifer became an Atheist, he took himself too seriously and lost faith in the unseen Universal Father. While he knew the fact of the Creator Son, the existence of the first source and center, God the Father, was a matter of "faith" for beings of Lucifer's order. One of the major problems of Lucifer's betrayal of trust is the terrible confusion his rebellion caused for those otherwise trusting souls under his administration.

While Lucifer was deposed and taken into custody at the times of the Son of Gods incarnate mission on earth, his doctrines of doubt lives on under the banner of Atheism.

I know this isn't the point of your comment, but you mention 'incarnate mission,' so I take it you believe the "Sons of God" were angelic beings? I agree with you that Satan's doctrines of doubt live on in Atheism, I'm just always curious of others thoughts regarding the reference in Genesis 6:2, and why they think they're angels.

We are ALL sons of God, mortals represent the last link in the chain of those beings who are called sons of God. Outside of our limited range of vision and material senses, in the economy of Gods universe, there is a vast array of "sons of God" of varying orders who function in diverse capacity in the administration of Gods plan of creation.

As a student of the Urantia Book revelation The Midway Creatures: Paper 77, The Urantia Book the "sons of God" who "mated with the daughters of men" were celestials who had been given human forms for their voluntary service to the Prince while they were on the earth. It was during their time here that the tragic The The Lucifer Rebellion: Paper 53, The Urantia Book occurred. This was long before Adam arrived. By the times of the writing of Genesis the garbled account had passed down through oral traditions over thousands of years and a number of civilizations and religions. The Israelite priesthood assumed Adam was the first human, they just didn't know any better, so much history had been lost.

But specifically, roughly 1/2 these genetically superior "super men" and women who had been given human forms, joined the rebellion and hence lost the use of "the tree of life" which would have sustained them indefinitely. So, in an attempt to preserve something of their progeny and in hopes of spreading the meme of Lucifer's folly, they deliberately "mated with the daughters of men." There descendants were taller in stature and longer lived. As their gene pool diluted over time and this civilization died out, they gave rise to 1000 and one legends of the "Gods coming down to earth". The Sumerians and even the Israelites number among their descendants.

Do you have any questions pertaining to creationism as Adam documented it?

What language did he write in, what did he write on, what happened to it (the last one would be interesting - passed on to who, when and so on up until the first/second millenium BC)

I can’t go along with the ‘last link in the chain’ descriptive, but I also believe ‘Sons of God’ refers to man, and man only, with Nephilim just representing the mighty men or warriors of the time. I think the context of the bible scriptures here make it clear that God is speaking exclusively of man (as in Gen 6:3, “My Spirit shall not always strive with man ...”). I can’t disagree that we have a limited range of vision, when it comes to God’s plan of creation, that’s for sure. And, I do understand that the choice of wording in the Bible narrative sometimes makes for debate. But, I’m a 100% Bible believer and as so disagree with the Urantia account here, although it is an interesting one. Thank you for the detail.

"came down and mated with"....

There is always more to learn, a much bigger picture, but religion petrifies the old into inflexible doctrines. The people who rejected the original gospel of the Son of God and attempted to kill him were 100% believers in the "scripture" books which they were taught were written by God. For them salvation was a matter of "keeping my statutes".

Man tends to over simplify the realty of God into something that will fit into the annual Christmas pageant.

3 celestials came down and met with Abraham at The Trees of Mamre. Gabriel came down and appeared to Mary in her living room to tell her that his Master was in her belly. The Son of God came down, but when the Bible says quite clearly that the "sons of God came down and mated with the daughters of men" which gave rise to super men, that's just too unbelievable.

I see your point about holding on to a belief, but we have to begin with some reference point... mine is the Bible, whereas yours is the Urantia. We also have to be careful what we read into the Bible, an example being "came down and mated with." My KJV & NIV Bible says, "the sons of God saw the daughters of men..." Also, as I mentioned, the contextual intent of verse 3 seems to be directed at man and the following narrative concerning the Great Flood focuses on man, not celestial beings. I think that may be where we are reading too much into it.

I'm using the Bibles characterization about this event which portrays something out of the ordinary. That the Urantia revelation explains it isn't the issue of the anomaly.

If its all really so straight forward and the Bible was just saying some human men saw some human women and had sex, then why do you even question it based on your reductionist explanation? If it's synonymous with "Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant" then there's nothing to see here and-why-do-people-presume-Nephilem-are-out-of-the-ordinary? Must just be another case of someone forcing something into what was supposed to be a common reading.

Again, when the spies of Moses saw the reappearing Nephiliem in the land of milk and honey, they really just saw some regular people who were kind of tall. Some tall men who's human parents had sex to make them.

I did say in my previous comment that the Bible's choice of wording could make for debate. I'm just trying not to read more into it than may have been there.

Again, when the spies of Moses saw the reappearing Nephiliem in the land of milk and honey, they really just saw some regular people who were kind of tall. Some tall men who's human parents had sex to make them.
Maybe that explanation is a simple one too. The Nephilim themselves would have been destroyed by the Flood, and maybe the large size of these people was just exagerated by the spies, as their report was a false one anyway, intended to scare those hearing it.
