What she did was wrong but he also did wrong too

He is a (real bad guy).

Anybody that would post pictures of an ex like that have proven to all that they are a hateful person.

When we are mature we hope and pray that all of our exes are doing good today and walking with the Lord hopefully.

I forgave her.
She didn't wrong you, did she?

I just want to see justice where he is concerned.
What do you think justice looks like for him? This isn't a rhetorical question. I'm asking because I do not know what would be an appropriate punishment under the law for this type of thing.

They both are.

She has acknowledged her sin and the consequences.

The consequences for him may not involve punishment. It could involve contrition and a change of heart. He may utilize other experiences to bring him to that place.

We are never given our just dessert for all our sins. Who could survive it! Grace in light of our wretchedness is difficult to grasp. That’s what Christ’s sacrifice is all about.

The natural response is to seek retribution. The harder one is forgiveness and prayer for his change of heart. God spoke of the latter many times.

You will relinquish your frustration if you follow suit. It seems unlikely. But laying doing your grievances at His feet is liberating and will bring the peace you lack.

She has acknowledged her sin and the consequences.

Then that's what distinguishes her from this guy.

If she repented, she is clean now.

I don't know what will happen to this guy in the long run. But may God prevent him from causing anymore harm and shame for you and your girlfriend.

God is merciful to those who repent. Let's continue to pray for His protection over you two.

How will God handle the perpetrator in this situation?
They say we are accountable for every thought - word - or action. I would be afraid to do something to someone that I would not want them to do to me.

But regardless there is consequences in some form....right? Otherwise how will the perpertrator learn/change? If the consequences is a change of heart that will make me feel better. As long as there is some kind of action by God.

What exactly does this mean in terms of what happens to the perpertrator? Being accountable is fine...but what does that really mean?

It seems that you are desiring for harm of some sort to come upon another. This thought is a prayer to God for harm to come to yourself. What a man thinketh, so is he. Your thoughts arent considered good or bad.....they are considered something that you desire for yourself.. And you will receive it. Then you will understand what this accountability mean.......Or you will, like most, believe that God is against you your wrong is coming to you for no reason at all.

It would be wiser to wish good fortune and forgiveness for the perpetrator....instead of harm....

I would just leave the consequences for perpetrator up to God. What's important is that he does not come near you and your girlfriend, nor can do any more harm against you two. What's important is that you two can move on in peace without his interference in your lives.

I have not heard of this interpretation of Proverbs 23:7, but thank you for sharing

That is up to God if he will let him continue in his harm against us. We cant do anything else.

No problem....if everyone knew the truth everyone would be rich and therefore equal.......which would make no one rich....but equal.

The world prefers classes and separation so you are unlikely to find this interpretation anywhere......instead you will find that you are blessed when you are poor... And If you think this.....then you will be poor and God will consider it a blessing for you....for He is giving you the desire of your heart.... so all is well.....
