Did anyone hear how Trump inquired about the possible sale of the country Greenland? Brilliant.

Unfortunately, it's not for sale. But as a nation I believe we should move on and look for another country to purchase.

So, how is everyone's weekends shaping up?
Stressful. Lots to try and get done before tomorrow, which is the first day of classes for the students. I feel grossly underprepared.

Been reading A.W. Tozers Pursuit of God and in it he describes the distinctions between Presence and manifest Presence of the Lord. The difference being the latter you can spiritually or by other means of senses you can perceive. I've longed to live in the kingdom in such a way where this is a reality to me. I just have to wait. He's told me that if I can be trusted with abiding in His Presence when He cannot be sensed then I can be trusted to live in the manifest glory where His Presence is revealed all the time. I've already been thru this test when it comes to hearing the voice of Holy Spirit. There were times when He would be silent and I had to wait on Him to speak. Now He and I can carry on conversations without any silence. And for this I'm very grateful. But we do go from glory to glory. And it's going to be spectacular when my world is opened up even more to the kingdom of God. Yee-haw

Same. I have been so bored out of my mind the last few weeks, aside from work, I pretty much just sit, trying to find something to do, waiting for it to get late enough that I can go to bed...

You can't go wrong with Hitchcock. I have six or seven of his TV seasons on DVD right now. They serve as wonderful inspirational starters and writing prompts for me.

So, how is everyone's weekends shaping up?

I had a great weekend. Went to this place that was part cafe, part supermarket and had breakfast there. Then we watched Avengers: Endgame in the afternoon. It was amazing. Just what I hoped it would be. A great ending to a great story. Writers don't get enough praise and they pulled off something spectacular here.

I have a three-week hiatus and plan to spend my time sewing. I should return to my decluttering project but I need a break. I’ve been at it for months.

I’d like to squeeze a few home pieces in during this time. My decision to use linen required a lot of research and feedback. I’ve shared the information with dimensions for multiple items with the sewers in our community. Many work well as inexpensive gifts for the holidays or special events. I’m going to add a few to a just because stash.

The latter is created with little things. Cards, candles, or thoughtful items that communicate you care just because. They’re nice to share with church members, the needy, and people who drop by.

Truly a classic lady. ^-^ I think you and the late Miss @ProGoddess would have gotten along quite well. It is a pity she left the community a few months ago, come to think of it, but I am sure she had her reasons (that did not appear to involve being against anyone here personally, mind you).

Unfortunately for myself, may I ask for everyone's prayers here, just in a general sense. It was a rough last 24 hours, as I had first experienced an unpleasant dream last night that seemed to be a jumble of memories - alluding in particular to the places I had lived in my past, and the family and friends I had near me in each place - and I was left feeling disoriented and lonely not only in the dream as a result, but also still fairly confused and disoriented when I finally woke up. It is difficult to explain how, really, so I will leave it at that. It was actually disorienting enough that as I lay there in bed I needed some time to determine who I was and where I was IRL. For a few moments I wasn't even sure of such basic knowledge, and I slowly repeated to myself who I was, my real name, who all you online know me as, where I live specifically in Magnolia, and what I do for a living. It seemed to calm me. But truly, for a bit of time after I had awakened, I honestly didn't know if I was still dreaming (and therefore lost), and my true home was still somewhere in one of the places of my past instead of here in these apartments in Magnolia.

And then work was not much better after that, earlier today. Everyone, including myself I regret to say, was quite on edge and feeling frustrated with the new system that we use daily in the lab for inputting data and activating certain instruments. And we had to learn it on the fly in the midst of a typically heavy workload that comes to my area in particular during day shifts. Even once I get to used to it I can still see the extra inconvenient steps I have to take in performing what was normally the simplest and most mundane of tasks taking up too much extra time as a whole throughout the shift, in the future. But, well, none of us should have let it get to us the way it did today. And I spoke - thankfully most of the time to myself, at least - in a frustrated and overly sarcastic way that one who aspires at knighthood should find shameful. :( .... Well, tomorrow's another day, and it can only get better from here. :)
