All believers have the Holy Spirit. Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. We receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit through repentance from sin in our imaginations, thoughts and outward sins.

Here's my approach to walking in the Spirit.

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:5) (KJV 1900)

We censor every impure thought or imagination. And change the channel in our thinking on any thought that does not conform to obedience to Christ.

And we replace it with:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

Knowing Jesus is God and God is love. So Jesus is lord of our lives when love rules our thoughts and actions.

I know that feeling, where a room becomes warmer, and the air becomes almost tangible, and there's a feeling of the presence of God in that place, filling the room. It comes through sincere and reverent worship.

Worship helps, since God inhabits the praises of His people, that's us.

Confession of sins also helps, since sin is opaque and can obscure "light"

Ask the Lord. He will fill you with His Holy Spirit which is all the truth about Him. Once you are filled He will guild you. This is the Comforter and Helper. You may not necessarily "feel" a change however you will "know" the change as you walk in the Spirit.

John 10:27-28
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Music can help but hopefully we can praise and worship God without it. It may take longer than 12.50 min. May opt for private time.

Focus on Him. Confess/repent of sins. Then if you are referring to beholding Him, praise Him til you become aware it's time to worship Him. Then stay in worship to Him.

Praise is more about Him and worship is more to Him - with worship it's just you and Him

Interesting question. My church sold a building to another church once and the last day we owned it groups of us went through each of the rooms and prayed for God to change lives in those particular places as the new church took over.

So I guess a prayer like that doesn't necessarily make the Holy Spirit fill those rooms, per se, but it does request God to meet people there which He may do through His Spirit.
