I came across a young woman (named Maria) outside of a local store today who was profusely crying and asking to borrow a phone. I had stopped and asked her what was wrong. She had told me that she was about to be evicted from her apartment, was with a man who had abused her, was addicted to drugs and someone had just stolen her phone while she was in the store. She explained how she was upset because she felt she had everything on her phone and now it was gone. I felt very strongly that the Lord had brought me to this woman because out of everyone on the planet, I'm one of the few who has a simple basic dumb-phone so I was of little help to her in getting her the numbers she needed. She was adamant that she didn't need money. So with nothing but the Gospel to give, I was able to share with her a bit about Jesus and she even allowed me to pray with her. While she wasn't a believer, I do believe God lead me to her today so that she may know Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I ask for your prayers for Maria, that she may repent of her sins and come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
