This is the sort of thing that I hesitate to post, because I could see it becoming a worry for other people as well. So I wanted to warn anyone for whom this might be a thing.
I have had a fear of accidentally taking the mark of the beast for some time now. I am particularly concerned over a couple of things that I read online about the Hebrew number 6. First, a series of three of those Hebrew numbers resembles the logo for the Monster energy drink. Monster's slogan for a while was "unleash the beast", which is kind of scary when you put the two together.
I don't actually think that this logo is the mark of the beast. But, my worry is what if somehow it is? OK, you might say, just don't drink it. Ah, but the company that sells the drink appears to be a major corporation that manufactures a lot of common beverages. Is purchasing one of those other beverages possibly taking the mark? And Monster is such a popular product that it is difficult to go anywhere that doesn't advertise it, or have it or the logo displayed in some conspicuous location. Is it too much of a risk to shop in one of those places?
Yesterday, I bought some mulch for my garden. As I was checking out, I saw that they were advertising Monster at the checkout counter. Is handling the mulch possibly taking the mark of the beast? What about consuming something from the garden where I put the mulch?
And then, today, I found out that the Hebrew symbol for the number 6 is also the symbol for the letter "w". So, is going to a website that uses three of them at the beginning of the URL taking the mark of the beast?
In either case, it seems like it is difficult to participate in commerce, to buy or sell anything, without running the risk of coming into contact with something that might be the mark of the beast.
Honestly, I doubt that you can accidentally take the mark of the beast. But what if you aren't sure and needlessly take the risk? Would that make you somewhat responsible, and therefore doomed?
What is the answer to this type of worrying?
