I imagine a jail of this caliber would have extensive video monitoring in place...(unless the guards erased that too which speaks to bigger issues).

It only takes a few minutes to suicide strangle yourself with a bed sheet. No ligature creation required.

Perhaps I didn’t have my terminology right, but that’s basically what I was referring to. An article of clothing like a shirt can suffice as well.

Coroner's report came out and said it's more consistent with strangulation and not suicide. Head in sand loses yet again.

Suspicion of a hit. Many will never believe he killed himself. Even if the video shows it, They could have gave him meds to cause suicide. Personally I don't care enough about this person. I'm just amused .

The injuries are consistent with either strangulation or hanging. Somewhat more frequent with strangulation. But let’s let the investigators work a bit before we get too far down murder street.

From what I heard, several bones in his neck were broken. Not sure what that would indicate.

Not somewhat. A LOT more frequent. Those injuries are found in about 75% of strangulations and 25% of hangings.

There was a study done in India of of hangings in 2010-2013 and only 6% had hyoid damage.

He would have needed to have a long drop which is impossible where he was.

A former inmate at the prison said where Epstein was, suicide is impossible.
