It's not hope filled , its false. Mormonism teaches a false christ and a false revelation from the false prophet Smith who wrote his own religious cult.
The number of followers does not mean it is from God. The bible says Satan is the "god" of this world. Mormonism is not the restored church it is a lie & I pray people will see that and flee it in droves til it collapses.
Hindus world wide 1.1 billion! does that mean it's teaching is from GOD?? - by your logic i guess.

Cults, generally do not get over 500, it is too hard to keep it a secret. JS went over 1000 in the first year and has not looked back yet.
We teach the Jesus of the full bible, you teach the Jesus of 1/2 the bible, read it and see for yourself, how many scriptures you disagree with. It would be fun to read it together and prove my point.
1.1B means it is no longer a cult, but a world-wide religion. Same as JS. No longer a cult as you like to call it, it is a world-wide religion too.
The church will never collapse. Jesus told JS it would never collapse, for it is here to get the world ready for the second coming. So it is important that it continue strong and steady, which it is.

Mormonism isn't "the church" and by using the Bible like Bereans anyone who can read & compare can see it's blasphemy. It is a religious CULT and a counterfeit to Christianity, for people who want to be enthralled with fables. As 1Tim 4:1 warns "in later times, many will turn away from their faith to follow the doctrines of demons...." These heretical doctrines that JS taught fabricated a false image of GOD & Christ and the afterlife. Those that have followed these heretical teachings will be left horrified when they die realizing too late, they chose to be deceived by the devil.
They will be without excuse as the Bible teaches, because God has provided them with the Word of God, the 66 books of the canon of scripture which they have Rejected, preferring to believe the alternative fairy tale additions of the spiritual Guru of Mormonism, that slick false prophet Joseph Smith. I pray that God will open their eyes before it's too late for this generation of deceived ones.

Yes there are people that have rejected the commandments of God. They either believe they are above the law or else the law does not apply to them. Well it does apply to them and they are not above the law either.

You still do not get it. My perception of God is found directly from the KJV bible. I will admit that I have read the words of JS and believe them, but I had to confirm his words with the words of Peter and Paul and John and Stephen and all the other first century church leaders. Do you think I blindly follow JS?
I have studied the words of JS and compared them to the bible all my 67 years. I have been faithful in reading the bible many times from front to back. So I am not talking through my mouth without much experience in the bible.
I have been able to reconcile most of the words of JS with the bible and so I stay an active member of the church.
Now, I would like you to reconcile the words of Paul from the bible, and if you can do that, then I know you are a student of the bible. Here it is:
Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
JS can reconcile these 2 verses easily, can you?

Nothing new here, you've paraded out the False Gospel of Joseph Smith numerous times, it is just one of the innumerable heresies in Mormon teachings & you refuse sound teachings.
As far as the beliefs of "the mormon God was a man from another planet and other heresies"; etc...like the teaching that man must keep the commandments to be saved, that Jesus was a spirit-child in pre-existence born after Satan...God has sex with a goddess heavenly wife producing off-spring....so here's the thing....
***The false Gospel of a false Christ who died to turn away the wrath from a False heavenly Father God does NOT provide Salvation.
It doesn't matter that you use KJV , so do Jehovahs Witnesses and that's not Christian either.
The fact that the church of ladder day saints use Christian-eze while keeping hidden fact of all the extra-biblical amendments, and additional teachings that makes Mormonism what it is---a Non-/pseudo Christian Religious Cult that poses as Christian--and claims that they represent the "restored faith" and are the "true church".
The vanity that runs through heretical Mormonism is palpable, this being the case in all the false religions because it reflects the character of it's fabricator-the adversary.

Salvation is for the righteous, not the unrighteous. That is the key to salvation.:

Since you did not even try to reconcile Ephesians 2:8-9 and 2 Timothy 3:16-17, I guess you can't.
And it proves that you have the fake gospel.
JS and I can with confidence say that we believe in Ephesians 2:8-9 and we believe in
2 Timothy 3:16-17. You do not believe in 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Do you see what I am talking about when I say you only believe in 1/2 the bible. Just rip the good works passage out of the bible and save you having to burden yourself with its message.

You are repeating yourself. This I already answered in this thread or the previous one with you , but you are unteachable & will only parrot the False Prophet Joseph Smith's teachings.
Hilariously a Mormon accusing a Christian that believes the Bible is God's Word in it's entirety of only believing half the Bible--when Mormons think that the Christian's Bible was missing the teachings that Joseph Smith added his amendments to. Like the teaching that GOD was a man from Another Planet & must have SEX with his goddess wife to produce spirit-children. Like that Jesus was a spirit-child & satan .
It would be a knee-slapper accusing a Christian of only believing half the Bible, if the Mormon teachings weren't such an insult to the Eternal GOD & Christ and the fact that it sends people to hell.

You never answer me, you just tirade about JS. So don't tell me you answered my anything unless you back it up with a post# that I can go back and read. As I remember this did come up and you continued to tirade rather than defend your faith. So show me your post that answered my question: Do you beleive in both Ephesians 2:8-9 and 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
You see, I do not think you believe in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 because it says to be engaged in good works. And that is why you only believe in 1/2 the bible. So get off your high position and defend your faith, or lose the discussion to an inferior JS follower.
Don't talk about the insult of our teachings, we teach that the whole bible is sacred, not just the few scriptures that lend support to our myopic belief system. Show me what you got or go to another section of this forum that is more friendly to you belief system.
By the way, JS taught that if you believe in Jesus Christ you will be save in eternal life. So we send nobody to hell because all those that believe in JS also believe in Jesus. So we are saved just like you. See you in heaven.

This thread is done it's job. Mormonism is exposed for it's unChristian beliefs, it's error of handling scriptures, and it's deception.
