Lord bless this prayer, let StillGods's cat return home, safe and fine. Yes Lord, in Jesus merciful name, Amen!

I'll pray for your cat to return home soon. I've had that happen, and I know how hard it is when you can't find your pet.

I remember a time years ago when I was asked by a good friend of mine who is a Methodist minister if I could stay at the manse for a week and look after her cats while she was on holiday.

At feeding time, none of the cats could be seen. Cooing, and meowing out of the patio door had little effect, apart from making myself look very silly, so I tried the old bush trick of tapping a cat food tin, which caught the attention of all of them - except one. There was one evasive cat that never showed up and had me worried all evening.

Another member of the clergy popped round to visit. I explained that the minister was away on holiday, offered him a cup of tea and asked him if he knew anything about cats which got me nothing but a blank "sorry can't help you mate" kind of gaze.

Later on, I heard the scuffling of the cat flap and breathed a sigh of relief as the little rascal had managed to find his way back in.

I'm glad your cat returned home safely.
