Well I would say better off.
The extremists who won the governorship of states they've had control of for many years aren't better off. They're collapsing. My brother lives in one of them, and he can see it, although he doesn't see the political connection and continues voting for the status quo.

But, the fear would be for the future for it seems the country is slowly heading towards socialism.

No, it's foolish to claim that Biden is senile for making gaffes as he has always done and foolish to claim that he is not playing with a full deck - especially foolish coming from Donald supporters who are in denial of the deficiencies of their own guy.

Now, now... we all know that Donald Trump is unpresidented. Despite the fact that he's a 73 year old man with the intellectual speech level of a fourth-grader, he will tell you that he is 'like really smart,' and a 'very stable genius,' with one of the greatest memories of all time. As well as wanting lasting peach in Israel, he also believes the Continental Army took over airports during the Revolutionary War and he was quite impressed with the effectiveness of the security wall that surrounds San Antonino.

SMH. And here is another reason to completely dismiss all of the political potshots thrown at Biden for his gaffes. It's one more reason why the ridicule of Biden is so laughable and can't be taken seriously.
Here's a short excerpt from the article: Currently, Trump, who was 70 on his Inauguration Day in 2017, holds the record for being the oldest person ever to become president. (The youngest person was Theodore Roosevelt, who was 42 when he was sworn in, though he never claimed to be baby.)

Yeah, his dad gave him some money, but this man with an "intellectual speech level of a fourth grader" has brought those funds exponentially greater in magnitude. If accurate, why are so very few able to do things on the same level? or at least to the same extent?

As for the title - In my opinion, I don't think Mr. Biden ever had a "full deck". Decades of blunders, misspeaks and gaff's supports the opinion.

Accuracy would come from the plethora of public documents and the financial disclosure paperwork the President provided to the government and is searchable.
