Do you kill insects?
Do you do it because it is necessary?
Remember they are creation of God.

Yes. With a vengeance.

And yes, it's necessary.

My cat agrees with me.

If they wonder into my house, most definitely. I don't want them having babies or crawling on me when I'm in bed.
Do you try to take them out of your house as harmless as possible?

I have been bitten by 3 scorpions, would you kill them? YES!!! A yellow jacket and a bee and black ants, mosquito's, etc. YES!!! The black ants are soooooo bad but only last a short time. The scorpion lasted at least 12 hours and was horrendous! I don't usually kill bugs that don't bite the exception is a bug that has come in from the cats food and now there are thousands......How to kill them, I don't know.

More like a discussion in Christian philosophy.

There are some microscopic bugs that cannot be handled cuz they move too fast, by the time you can see them it's kind of too late.

If one bug can get in, all the bugs can get in.

Bugs are fine outside, just not inside. Bug predators are welcome.

I do sometimes kill spiders if I can't catch them easily so I don't get fed on while I sleep. The thought of spiders crawling on me while I sleep ruins my sleep. But usually I catch them and bring them outside to the garden next to my house.

Does that mean it wouldn't be bad to bring an animal to kill those insects?

We absolutely kill bugs! If they are in my house, they are fair game.

I call my girls the Bug Brigade because they don't care how big the bug is, including spiders and roaches, they go after it and eliminate it. They are fearless!

BTW, you have an interesting avatar. :)

Handling them ecosystem wise would be imitating God. If any population gets out of hand it totally wrecks the creation.

Fair enough. I believe that God gave us wisdom and discernment, and to be proactive in preventing what is not meant to be roaming and reproducing freely in our homes.

Fleas can cause bubonic plague and mosquitoes can cause malaria, etc.

And roaches....well, they will force you out of your own home and take over, all the while multiplying their population.

When I had cats, they would eat any bug they could catch in the house. So they killed them too.
I also kill any stinging flying threat outside if its on my property.
Not only do they really hurt, but to some people getting stung can kill them.
And flies breed maggots and disease. Maggots will eat your pets and can kill them alive.

I lived in West Texas for a year and dealt with scorpions and tarantulas. They are no fun at all.
