Oh, so now body armor is illegal, too?

The law in Missouri never changed because of what happened in Texas. Now, you can always see to it that it DOES change because of it, but as of August 2019 when the law-abiding man walked into Walmart and shopped, what he did was perfectly legal. Open Carry went into effect in January 2017, and that never changed.

If he was right (and legally I think he may have been), it seems to mean that you can't do anything about someone acting dangerously until they actually shoot someone. That may not be a situation you want to be in. I'd think if you're going to have open carry, it would be reasonable to ask for guns to be kept in a holster unless they're needed. A holster for an AK may be difficult, but I'd suggest there might be limits on just what you can carry openly.

Do you agree with the many cases of "doing x while black" because the people who called the cops on the people of color felt threatened?

"Threatening manner" is a thin argument when the law explicitly says it is legal.

I agree, the fact is he deliberately dressed like he meant business(mass shooting) and carried a loaded assault rifle into a Walmart after a mass shooting at a Walmart. He is at least liAble for the lost earnings from Walmart closing.

Oh no. I don't live in the USA. We don't have open carry laws in germany.

And I'm certainly not going to visit the USA, because the risk of getting shot is too high for my taste.

I think that it speaks volumes on how this guy is still alive but unarmed African Americans are shot down for traffic infractions.

Along with two armed good guys and 6-8 civilians in the theatre. Most hit by friendly fire.
