Hi

I was listening to a sermon and this quote came up “There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still.” by Corrie Ten Boom

What does it really mean? i think i know what it means, that even in the darkest pit, God's love is so much more.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I get the imagery, even if you go to sleep and find yourself in the pit of scripture, God is there, God will reach you. Since God is love.

You can never be so far down that God cannot reach you.
His love, mercy and grace are immeasurable and beyond anything we can imagine.
