Hello! MY name is Jonathan, I'm 35 with a beautiful GOD given wife and 2 wonderful GOD given daughters(15, 10)
Grew up in a "christian home" rebelled strongly in my teen years and at 19, 16 years ago I decided to seek GOD to know if HE was real or not so I could live my life accordingly. At that time I set aside everything in my life and did everything I could, holding nothing back to discover if HE was real and alive and who HE says HE is or not. For 2-3 months I locked myself away and when I learned fasting I did that, when I learned of sack cloth I wore ripped old clothes, I slept in ashes. Wanting to leave GOD no excuse to hide HIMSELF from me and to know without a doubt if HE was real or not and I found HIM.
Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
At that time I knew very little scripture, very close to nothing at all but when I would pray(in my heart, not even out loud) many times in those days I would open my eyes and be somewhere else with HIM. In those experiences I would see JESUS in different characters from the bible, though I had almost no idea what I was seeing at the time, from the suffering servant to the triumphant king of kings, with eyes like flames of fire and a voice that shook heaven and earth.
At that time I also endured great persecution for my faith, most of my family turned against me and I was even delivered to court for my faith(long story) where THE LORD put words in my mouth and had both lawyers thrown out of the court room and HE delivered me according to HIS WORD.
Now it has been a long time(15+ years) since I found HIM and HE made HIMSELF real in my life. HE has done so many wonderful things that I would be here writing a novel if I were to testify of all of it and I am in awe of HIM!
All I have said to express that I love HIM so much! HE is my everything! HE has taught me HIS word by revelation and application in my life and HE is my best friend!
I wonder if there are brothers and sisters out there who can relate to this kind of relationship with HIM?
Also as HE has taught me such profound things from HIS WORD even to a fool like myself I desire greatly to share/witness of HIM and to relate these experiences to my brothers and sisters.
