Where in the Constitution does it say that the government has the right to demand that we register our firearms? IIRC, what really started the shooting during the Revolutionary war was the British attempting to confiscate the militia's shot and powder and cannon(?).....hmmmm, wonder how they knew where it was?

Where in the constitution does it prohibit registration?

The Second Amendment speaks of a well regulated militia. Militia members' ownership of their weapons was not intended to be kept secret from the Government.

'....the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.'
Oh, BTW, I was speaking of British military since our Constitution was not yet written.....

I can see you don't understand how the Constitution was written. It was written to enumerate the rights/powers of government; IOW it spelled them out. If it was not listed/enumerated then the 10th Amendment applied:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
So, once again, where in the Constitution does it give authority to the government to require people to register their firearms?

And here I was thinking the bill of rights were written specifically to constrain government power.

That's nice. Once again, where does it prohibit it?

Never mind, I've heard the argument, "I've got to have my guns to protect myself against the government and if the government knows I have them they'll come and take them away and I won't be able to protect myself against the government." People who are witless enough find that convincing shouldn't even be allowed pointy scissors, much less a firearm.

So, I guess they did not teach government when you went to school.....In your particular case I would have to start with "We the People...."

I take you can't find it in there? Not to worry, no one thought you could.

Well, I can't speak for others but I have to have my guns because my Constitution says I have an absolute right to have my guns.....Just like I have to have my right to trial by a jury of my peers because my Constitution says I have an absolute right to trial by a jury of my peers.....and so forth and so on.....People who are witless enough to not understand such unique and special rights bestowed upon us by our Constitution probably don't deserve them in the first place.

Try taking your guns into a courthouse and we will see how "absolute" your right is.

Where does the Constitution say the government cannot require registration of our muskets?

Statistics show that gun-owning homes have many more gun deaths than gun-free homes. So you gun owners are freely choosing to take this risk with your lives.

If you weren't endangering my life I wouldn't care. You want to put your family at risk with your guns, your business. But the obscene number of guns and assault weapons in this country is like secondhand smoke--it poisons the environment even for those if us who choose to be gun free.

“Get ready to die!” West Virginia grandma foils break-in attempt at her home on Christmas Eve
Gun-toting grandmother foils home invasion; 3 arrested
And there are thousands more incidents like this.....you just won't find them in the LSM because it does not fit their liberal narrative........
So, oké, one example from 2016. It's now 2019. So 1 burglary attempt in 3 years has been stopped by a lady with a gun.
In that same year, 2016 there were 38 658 deaths by guns.

And of course after 2016 there was 2017, 2018 and now 2019.

The gains of gun ownership are not in balance with the costs.

I don't agree with the sentence in red. A gun owner who has toddlers or small children and doesn't keep his guns and ammunition out of reach of these children is like a driver under influence. The state/ government has to act for the safety of those without a will or the possibility to exercise that will.

I am guessing you did not read the citations as they were 2 separate events which was followed by the following statement:
