Plagues

Yeah, all that stuff could never happen....

Except it already did once back in Egypt...

One thing we need to understand though.... The results of the 7 seals being opened are different than the specific plagues sent to communicate a message to mankind. Breaking the seals are a required
condition of opening the scroll. Jesus MUST break the seals to open the scroll to inherit the earth..... And Jesus specifically warned us not to worry over non-signs...

I personally believe that Jesus going through the seals slowly is very much out of compassion for mankind.... If they had all been sprung quickly at once - it would be the end of most of mankind... Opening them slowly has allowed things to settle down and normalize between them... The next seal (the 6th in my opinion) is going to be a doozy though... But the world is still coming to terms with the remembrance of The Holocaust....

Not worried about it. So many different interpretations by those who have "studied". You'd think that if the spirit was really talking to them, everyone would be on the same page.....but alas, that's definitely not the case.

Interesting that the KJV is the only version that translates that as "study". But I know it's a favorite of those who fancy themselves as bible experts.

Apocalyptic type plagues have always been happening.
eg. The Black Death is reckoned to have killed between 30% and 60% of Europe's population!

And those type of plagues always had natural origins.....and the origins were not God's wrath (even though ignorant populations deemed them to be).

Not sure what you're trying to point out here, but....

Red = a-dom
Blood = dam

The word "dam" (blood) is used in Exodus 7:20...not "a-dom""
"Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded. In the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants he lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, and all the water in the Nile turned into blood (dam)."

The word "a-dom" (red) is used in Zechariah 1:8:
"I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red (a-dom) horse!......"

"Color of blood" (red / a-dom) is not blood (dam).

How about the "plagues" (manmade) of hunger, thirst, several or many diseases, worldwide today ?
What would "biblical proportions" be ? Especially since a lot more people are not Ekklesisa, whether Jewish or gentile, compared to those who are faithful Ekklesia born again ones. (the sheer number of people dying of various diseases, thirst and hunger, may some day possibly be exceeding the total number every year, of the faithful Ekklesia )

I don't know by definition, per se, but
I have considered there today to be plagues of diabetes, head aches, heart disease, and hbp, and other diseases , all brought on by sin, by ignoring Yahuweh, by disobeying Him, and as HIS PEOPLE PERISH for lack of knowledge (of the truth).

I believe it was the land(earth)[adamah] that was punished with famine. I recall that in the instance of yosefs betrayl it was his own brothers that were called to repent as the land had become desolate in consequence of laying unwarranted Greif upon their father Israel.
