i edited my post, Dave to expound on the curious notion of what Neo-Nazism is.

Kudos to Trump for almost keeping to the script of his prepared speech (mentioning Toledo) and kudos to him for not going off on some raging tangent about Democrats or about the liberal media or about Congresswomen who are women of color or viciously insulting other people whom he obviously hates.

I give President Trump credit for explicitly calling it terrorism and calling out white supremency. But almost the entirety of the speech was the standard conservative talking points that get trotted out every time there is a mass shooter.

Anyone else just becoming defeatist at this point with gun rights? Every time we make some sort of progress in preserving 2nd Amendment rights some crazy person starts something and it's all wiped out in a matter of months. Should we even bother anymore?

I'm glad he's condemmed the white supremacy movement. Hopefully he will tone down some of his own inflammatory language too.

Why did you snip my post and use it to praise Trump? To add insult to injury you posted a Fox video. I said kudos because he isn't acting like his normal self and it's a shame he isn't decent more often.

Yes, finally. At least he kind of stuck to the prepared speech for him and he didn't go off on another one of his little Twitter fits. There wasn't a statement of "very fine people on both sides" this time or denying he knew a white supremacist like he initially denied knowing who David Duke is. But I'm still waiting to see if he will retweet some racist tweet by a white supremacist like he has done before.

I'm no fan of Gun control , we aren't socialized Europe yet(Thank God!), Yet this shows the President does have a heart, those dead people must of affected him badly. For 2020, I hope the Constitution party steps up it game to be a Conservative challenge to the President on the budget, the intreast rate cuts, the national debt, and Gun control to force Trump back to the right.
