Are we seeing plagues of biblical proportions? Is God still using plagues to get their attention? Or are we supposed to even consider this as a message from God? Swarms of mayflies emerge along Missouri River
Wouldn't plagues be something out of the ordinary though, and something that would make people take notice? Swarms of mayflies are an annual occurence in some areas. Are we seeing plagues of biblical proportions? Is God still using plagues to get their attention? An example should be relevant to the question, don't you think? It is not the example, it is the question that this thread is about.
Not really... The example becomes the object of focus, instead of a general theological consideration of the question itself. An example should be relevant to the question, don't you think?
Maybe you should find example that is relevant, and not a normal occurrence.
You can rule out locust swarms in the middle east. Those are also a normal occurrence.
Exactly....which is why if you want the focus to be on the question, the example should complement the question, instead of detracting from it.Not really... The example becomes the object of focus.....
Our Lord Yeshua is sovereign of the weather and also gives discernment to those observing the winds.Since most people don't even seem to believe God controls the weather, would they believe a plague to be from God? Maybe that's why the two witnesses are coming.
As an example rather than the literal fulfillment, it is a sample not the reality the biblical plagues. Back to the question, does God use plagues to talk to us?Exactly....which is why if you want the focus to be on the question, the example should complement the question, instead of detracting from it.
Then how is God going to use the plagues of Revelation to even give you a clue as to how close to the end of time is?No. Life and natural occurrences happen.
There have been no plagues of the types that are pictured in Revelation, in spite of all the wishful thinking and wild speculation. Then how is God going to use the plagues of Revelation to even give you a clue as to how close to the end of time is?
Being that the 2 witnesses have already left. There have been no plagues of the types that are pictured in Revelation, in spite of all the wishful thinking and wild speculation.
Get back with me when there are.
How about the waters turning to blood red? Rivers so far, but it hasn't got to the oceans yet. There have been no plagues of the types that are pictured in Revelation, in spite of all the wishful thinking and wild speculation.
Get back with me when there are.
Whatever is going to happen will happen. I don't live my life based upon what may or may not happen in the future. One day at a time. I'll take it as it comes and I don't listen to the noise of those who think they have all the answers. Especially if they are way to preoccupied with the "what ifs".What comes next?
