Why the term "generations"? The bible has already, on many occasions, established that he was a righteous man.

"righteous in his generations" is the indication that his blood line was perfect. This was necessary to preserve the perfect human bloodline from which Jesus would come.

The book of Enoch is quoted in the bible, a couple of times. It is obvious that Jesus knew of it and His brother Jude quoted it.

The people of the day knew of it and it was important enough to have portions quoted in the bible.

Also, Enoch still lived to be 365 years old... I'm betting that he had time to write a book.

Just because you don't understand it and it is a supernatural thing that they won't touch in Sunday school...... or even from most pulpits.... does not make it less true.

The "sons of God" took the "daughters of men"..... Its as obvious as that....

Who else could these "sons of God" be that they created giants and men of renown?

Don't worry, my Sunday school teacher didn't tell me what Lot's daughters did to him either. Or... that Noah got drunk. Or that David committed adultery, then had the husband of this woman killed....

I don't think you have any support for any proof of angles NOT having DNA... other than you don't want them to.... in order to discredit their ability to have offspring with human women.

Just remember... some angels did "something" to have them put in chains in lower Haiti.. Tarturus... for 70 generations....

If you look at the events that happened in Genesis 6..... and accept that fallen angels, left their first estate, and mated with humans.... a lot of events that took place after that.. make the bible a much more solid source of history.

Including all of the fantastic mysterious places, architecture and structures of this world.

Not to mention a much better explanation as to why God destroyed all living things... except for 8 people and two of all the animals.... other than... "people were bad".

Enoch... was born of Cain.

Second generation of mankind? And, they already knew how to write?



Mankind only two generations after Adam already knew how to write? They were farmers.

Writing came much later to civilization. Oral tradition was the means to pass down information.

Most likely, people with what we now call "photographic memories" were assigned this task of being the keepers of the records until writing finally came along.

And, if Enoch could write it? It would have had to appear in some obscure, ancient alphabet, unknown to men later on. We still have ancient language finds that those who study them have yet to understand.

The Book of Enoch was commentary. Most likely by someone who today would be writing science fiction of epic proportions. That does not mean angels did not produce giants with human women. For that was recorded by Moses. The frightened Jews refused in cowardliness to enter Canaan because of the evil report given them by those who knew Genesis Six. It was well understood in the early days of the Exodus. (Numbers 13) Only Joshua and Caleb refused to fear and wanted to conquer. But, the people were afraid because they were told their were men like the Nephilim in the land!

God Inspired Moses to write the First 5 Books of the Bible, Moses never went into any detail of what you are saying happened, I personally would believe what moses said as opposed to some book supposedly written by someone who died before the flood and the said book survived to be translated after over 150 days under water, it was found, BY WHO WHERE?
