Those that fell away from believing and following God's Word and returned back to a life of known unrepentant sin (see post # 291 linked)
That’s not the theme of Hebrews. The writer of Hebrews was convincing some there to abandon the old covenant that the new covenant was superior.

Because I believe and follow God's Word. I hear His voice (the Word) and follow him. He bids me come, now I walk on water.
Thanks. So your righteousness is dependent upon yourself. It’s a reward for obedience.

Not at all. I said no such thing. What do the scriptures provided with the post sent to you mean in your view? Perhaps you did not read them. They are God's Word not mine you can choose to believe them or not it is up to you.

CAN YOU LOSE SALVATION AND ETERNAL LIFE? ...

What are your thoughts?

May God bless you as you seek him and continue in His Word.
Yes, according to scripture, persons can, indeed, lose salvation and eternal life. As two examples, for a witness:

OT - King Saul
NT - Ananias and Sapphira

The sanctuary services of God teach the same in Leviticus 16 & 23.

God's own character, of Love, demonstrates that persons can indeed turn from God as they choose, using the choice given them by God.

No.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
— John 10:27-28
The key word in that terrible translation is "snatch", or in the proper translation, "pluck" (vs 28; G726), and it means by 'force', see Matthew 13:19; John 10:12, "catcheth" (as to steal by force).

To force out of the hand is not the same as leaving the hand of one's own will/choice. That is two things, not one and the same thing.

Hence, even Lucifer left his 'first estate' (arch office; Jud. 1:6) and position that God gave him (Eze. 28:14) of his own free will, and was not taken away by any force.

Likewise, Adam in the garden chose freely, and no one forced him to eat.

But now we have been released from the Law, ...
Released "from the Law" in what way? Not from obedience to God's perfect and eternal will (Psa. 40:8), but from the penalty of eternal death (Rom. 6:23). Notice, the context:

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin (1 Jhn. 3:4), that grace (Tit. 2:11-12) may abound?

Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

How do you know sin today? (If you say by the Holy Ghost, as per Jhn. 16:8, then He leads us into all truth (Psa. 119:142,151,172, and 1 Jhn. 3:4))

Your righteousness is dependent upon your faith AND works.
"THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." - Jer. 23:6

Jer. 51:10 The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph. 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Tit. 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

His work, not ours. He is simply carrying out His promise in Jer. 31:33. He would do it. Soon, it is to be said once more, "It is finished", even as He shook the earth once, now again and also Heaven.

While not saved by works, we are rewarded by them:

Rev. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Do you understand what eternal life means? And do you understand what shepherds do?

A PARABLE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR AND EYES TO SEE

Some were told by the one who knows all things; Hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and not perceive: this was because those hearing made themselves a hardened heart that said "Lo this word is not for me who can hear it? I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing".

Travelling along the way those who would not hear fell into the ditch they call delusion that all fall into that kick against the pricks because they lost their mirror that shows the way when the path is dark and narrow. Their lamp was a guide to them but they did not have enough oil. Their lamp then went out and now they sit in darkness falling into the dtich they cannot find their way out.

Some travellers in the way walked by and saw some of these sitting in darkeness who lost their way and offered them some oil for their lamps but they being proud would not accept the gift and did not want to receive any help choosing instead to make their home in the ditch which the Lord of the way gave them over to because they loved darkness rather then the light because their deeds were evil.

Tick tock goes the watch the time for grace is running out. Who will hear the call to go out and meet the brifegroom? Only those that have their lamps trimmed and full of oil and who have not lost their mirror that shows them the way when the road is dark and narrow.

God's Sheep hear his Voice (the Word of God)

It is even more difficult to respond to posts with no scripture on the subject of the OP.

That’s the Reformed view.
Hardly. The "reformed" view is transgression of the 4th commandment. IOW it teaches sin in the garb of righteousness (being self-righteousness, going about to establish their own righteousness).

Nope I have said no such thing and if I have said or believe no such thing why do you pretend that I have? Apart from JESUS I have no righteousness. God's righteousness in me *PHILIPPIANS 3:9; 1 CORINTHIANS 1:30; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21; PHILIPPIANS 1:11 is dependent on believing and following God's Word which is a gift of God *ROMANS 1:16-17; ROMANS 3:21-25; EPHESIANS 2:8-9; ROMANS 10:3-4; JOHN 8:31-36; GALATIANS 2:21. You did not read the scriptures provided did you. You do not have to if you do not want to it is up to you. I do not judge you. It is the spirit the quickeneth the flesh profits nothing the words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life.

Since the post you replied to was all scripture (not out of context references) I’m not sure what your point is.

What was the point of this post, since it has nothing to do with the OP and is off topic?
