I wonder if people know mass murders happened before Trump as well. It seems when these things happen its always Trumps fault, as if Sandy Hook didnt happen under Obama, or the Aurora Theater shooting, etc. The guy's manifesto even specifically states he was planning something like this well before Trump.

So you believe the part that he hates anything but white America, but not the part that Trump had literally nothing to do with it...

Mental health and focusing on safety around firearms would seem to be a better option.

Easy to say. Predicting violent behavior can be extremely difficult and uncertain. It's largely an educated guess. Should we curtail people's rights based on guesswork? Better access to mental health care would be welcome. But there are still many who disapprove of health care--which would include mental health care--being provided to everyone regardless of ability to pay for it.

This is the dilemma: If you think that personal freedom and a less restrictive society is the greater good, then the price is that some deranged individuals will abuse that freedom to the point of committing mass murder. If you think that curtailing violence is the greater good, then the price is curtailing some of that personal freedom. As a nation, we seem unable, or unwilling, to make a choice.

It looks like he was a white supremacist. A lot of the driving force behind mental disorders such as his are being fuelled by Republicans, especially Trump.

Someone in office actively sowing dissent and dividing a country with inadequate gun laws, easy access to entirely unnecessary levels of firepower and a history of mass shootings, it's bound to happen time and time again.

This is no different to Islamic terrorism. Propaganda circulates, a disassociated and vulnerable person latches on to it as a form of identity, belief or purpose in a life usually lacking one or all of those things, and then attacks like this happen.

At this point Trump and his ilk are no different to radical clerics stirring the pot.

Go clean up your own Government before you begin to criticize ours.

We can argue among ourselves without your input.

Once you given up your freedoms is very hard to take them back.

why are you trying so hard to deflect and defend this murderer?

Haven't you noticed, it's not about the 21 people who died it's only about
GUN CONTROL, that is what I am defending.

The bleeding heart liberals want guns off the market, out of a Free Peoples hands, but they will die keeping the doors of an Abortion Clinic open.

More Murders take place inside of those Clinics in one month than in all of the Mass shootings combined.

We as a Nation will Pay and Pay sorely for those Murders that have taken place for sexual freedom and convenience.

The Blood of millions of Innocent babies cry out to God, the Earth stained with their Blood cry's out, this Nations soil will take her Sabbaths for what we have allowed to take place, this Holocaust on the Unborn.

this thread is about the people who died. you just desperately want to make it about something else so you blurt out pointless rhetoric and meaningless rants about abortion and whatever you think "sexual freedom" is. you are excusing a murderer in order to push your agenda. you're no different than those posters here who defended the rape and murder of a teenager just because the victim was muslim all because it fit their xenophobic agendas.

I can kill you with my bare hands, I don't need no stick.
Do tell about these mass stranglings going on, they somehow flew below my radar.

Sure they do, but if they said that, they wouldn't be able to blame him would they.

The Columbine High School massacre took place it 1999, Clinton was President go figure, I guess President Trump was also responsible for that one.

You keep chipping away at our personal Freedoms and pretty soon, you don't have no Personal Freedoms any more.

Hold on to what you got!

Let's not play the R M X cards.

No I think I am pointing out, there are more Human Beings being Murdered every single day than what happened today but some people seem to not really care about them.

Therefore my Pointless Rhetoric as you call it and the Meaningless rants will continue, I personally believe, this supposed "Sexual Freedom" for women is nothing more than rampant Immorality.

Thousands of defenseless unborn babies died in horrible ways today, do you care, if you do then go do something about it, but don't call my cry for Justice for the Unborn, a Meaningless Rant, or Pointless Rhetoric.

Shame on you for such a statement.

shame on me? shame on you for using the murder of innocents in order to push your agenda. if you want to talk about abortions or gun rights go start another thread about it if it truly means anything at all to you which i am highly in doubt of. you seem more like an opportunist than anything else.

Why were seatbelts introduced? Why was legislation introduced enforcing they be worn?

People can't be trusted to do the right thing most of the time which is why there needs to be preventative measures in place and legislation to enforce those that violate it.

Clearly something needs to happen about the ease of access to firearms.

With great power comes great responsibility. People have flaunted that responsibility for far too long.

When kids can't play nicely they lose their toys.

There's a start, now just what other Preventative measures do you propose that are not already in place, Specifically, seems you got the answers to solve the problem, show us how to fix it?

Don't talk to Mala though, she thinks this thread is about those murdered today and the murderer and not gun control.
