I don't know, but what of Joshua...and Ephraim?
I was taught in the spirit that efrym is a blessing like water that flows into the land that is mnsh.

Did these two ever fight?

Proverbs 6:16-19
"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

I didn't understand the question or intent.
Please clarify.

I wondered if there was ever conflict between the two. According to Isaiah I guess there was...as a chastisement?

In that context. Yes, all but the poor were exiled and chastised. Including yhdh.
Instead of following the emotions of conflict that arised during a period in history of a nation.
I prefer to follow a pattern the Lord revealed as through the school master.
2 half tribes became one in manesseh as a fathers blessings flowed through efrym to mnsh as being likened to us in the body of Yeshua receive living waters to nourish the Heart.
With the lion of the tribe of yhdh as King I see him bringing yosef a blessing to his first born with a seamless garment.

Blessed be The Holy One

Meditate on the historical context in comparison to ole sh'aul being of the tribe of benyamin(Benjamin) and the the affliction he endured from a generation of yhdh. And how the tribe of Benjamin once served a corrupt generation of yhdh kings and levite priest. Only to be chastised along with an entire nation.

What was it he said about his flesh being marked?

"Blessed are the poor........"

Blamelessness of the daughter of a bnyammn king.
While a king may have mourned his children....
Did he ever mourn a friend that became his enemy?

Though a father in law sought to hold power over his son. Even after his daughter became a wife of the promised eternal throne. When ever has anyone found their enemies weakness well within their own family. A weakness to give another strength.

Unfortunately.
Its possible that a woman was bitter toward her husband after her father and brothers died in battle. I can only imagine a daughters grief after hearing of such a demise. Similar to the grief Dinah may of felt after having her husband perish at her own brothers wrath.

I wonder if it was the same grief upon both womens heart that spoke out when the Ark was returned. Just a thought as i explore the Terrain of the Torah with friends.

I imagine the daughter of saul was not ready to share her husbands joy at that moment. And was likely still mourning while her husband was not.

I hear tell even kings are to love their wife as their own Life.

I believe a hebrew of hebrews from the tribe of bnyammin spoke of such with elegance.
