Well that is not true. You have been provided God's Word and in response you provide your own words. The reason for 1 JOHN is that we sin not *1 JOHN 2:1 and defines exactly who the children of God are and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:6-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4 as does JESUS MATTHEW 7:22-23.

Depends on what you mean by believe. The devils also believe but do not follow and will not be saved. The same as many at the second coming who believed but did not follow *MATTHEW 7:22-23. Yep many are going to be disappointed on that day when they had the opportunity to hear God's Word but choose to turn away from God's Word to hear the false gospel of smooth things and did not know the day of their visitation.

I find we disagree, because we must disagree.

Once the chasm is inhabited by churches again, then such disagreements will not be necessary .. nor will they make sense. There is a spiritual mirror to the physical after all.

In vers 37, 38?

"If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father."

Is Jesus telling them to believe something he knows they can't believe? Sounds to me very unlikely.
But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.

once saved always saved is a demonic doctrine. Simple as that.
Tell that to Jesus.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24

and Paul

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

I did, and Jesus pointed me to a trustworthy preacher of our time named Zac Poonen. He said the most diabolical doctrine in the world that sends more christians to hell is the OSAS doctrine. I happily agreed.

I find the "you will lose your salvation" teaching is fearmongering...The fearmongering teaching method does not get the results of anyone having boldness on the day of judgment ... and that's bad news.

That sounds more like a word lifted from some political campaign.

The Bible is simply FULL of predictions about awful, dreadful, events that lie ahead for those who are not the Lord's people.

No matter how we look at those verses, it is evident that we are being told something of great importance that cannot fail to make an impression on believers...and was meant to do just that.

Why did you "happily" agree ?

Because it doesn't sound like God ...

Ezekiel 18

23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Lord GOD. Would I not prefer he turn from his ways and live?
...
32 For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death, declares the Lord GOD. So repent and live!

Because it got exposed as a bogus doctrine. Many christians will no longer be fooled by it except, perhaps and hopefully only a few... which regretfully are fated to remain forever blind as God wills it. And I won't argue with His decision.

In other words, if you stop believing, then you never belonged to Jesus to begin with.
John 6:39-40
"this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Bless you my friend, the same word translated to “will” John 6:39-40 is also used in 1 Timothy 2:4. It means desire or wish. Now of course these verses use different variations of the word. In John 6:39-40 it is used as a noun while 1 Timothy 2:4 it is used as a verb. We know not everyone will repent and be saved even tho it is God’s desire that they do so. Now look closely at John 6:37 my friend.

“All that the Father gives Me will come (G2240) to Me, and the one who comes (G2064) to Me I will certainly not cast out.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:37‬ ‭NASB‬‬

The definition below indicates that this version of the word is only used in the present or imperfect tense meaning only those who presently and continuously come to Him He will certainly not cast out.

cometh or comes

Why were they not His sheep is the question? Was it because of their own refusal to believe or were they predestined to not believe?

A person does not need to believe in conditional salvation in order to serve God friend. Sure some may be misled into a false sense of security but those who devote themselves to God will still be saved whether they believe in OSAS or conditional salvation.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 and 2 Peter 3:9 both say that God desires everyone to repent and be saved. He does not pick and choose who will repent and who will burn in the lake of fire.

No my concern is the lack of fear for sin in many. OSAS legitimizes sin. That is never ok in my book. I I don't normaly care about doctrines, but when it comes to something as dangerous as sin this is important.

Yes I absolutely agree. Eternal security and salvation by faith without works are very dangerous teachings. They can definitely mislead people to a false sense of security and disobedience. It is important to expose these misconceptions.

Hello brother, bling thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Some commets provided below for your consideration...

Great scriptures you have provided here. I do not think you can get more clearer scriptures showing that our salvation is conditional on believing and following God's Word.

Absoultely! We have the hope of eternal life now as we believe and follow God's Word always in the present tense. We receive eternal life once we endure temptation to the end believing and following God's Word. What do you think about the smooth teachings being taught by those suggesting that salvation cannot be lost even when someone falls away from believing and following God's Word back into a life on known unrepentant sin?

Thanks for sharing with us brother bling. Enjoyed reading your post.

Blessings.
I really do not like the phrase "lose your salvation", like if we miss a payment on mortgage for our house in heaven it will be lost. We have the paid up deed we just have to keep from seeing it as worthless and wind up giving it away.

Well then why He doesn't save everyone?

Because He has left our fate in our hands. John 3:18

“He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NASB‬‬

It wouldn’t make much sense to judge people according to whether or not they believe if God hasn’t enabled them to believe.

There are many verses that contradict God’s election and predestination.
