The idea is brilliant, nothing stupid about it. The only problem is to develop technology to implement it without violating God's laws (the laws of Physics).

We could use the same ideas to Accelerate Quantum Space, allowing for anything. I think.

The goal was to not travel through space using a space ship, but more like Accelerating the Atoms around a person, and that person would be able to direct the atoms and Jump from planet to planet.

Like I said, stupid.
That is what Alcubierre seems to be proposing. (I have only a tangential knowledge of the discipline.)

Just need to have certain technology that is possible in like 5 years.

I was thinking about "Gravitational Force Direction" and how to get into the Quantum State with predicted technology.

I am pretty sure that those laws are inviolable.

I'm trying to think...If God were to give someone a way to do it, how would he?

The whole "Nothing shall be impossible" comes to mind.

Engineers can fudge with those laws, though. For example, it's impossible to travel faster than light. But one could bend space and travel faster than light, without actually moving. I guess that's the principle of warp drives.

What about....No...that's too simple. But....

Okay, what if there was an undiscovered combination of matter? And if that form of matter could be easily used to enter a Quantum State?

I'm still thinking about how that would work....

Not everything is reproducible (on demand), however.

Beam Me Up, Scottie...?
"Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea." Acts of the Apostles 8:39-40 NKJV

If correct, that just means that there are other laws at play, like aerodynamics [fluid dynamics?] vs. gravity alone.

Bend space? Wait a minute! What if it is as simple of not traveling through space, but bending the atoms around you to a point in space, and fixing it there?

When I was a kid, I thought about what I call now "Fixed Point Theory." Pretty much, like this.

If there is a still object, it is not moving. But if someone were to say, make it a fixed point, then no matter what happens in its past or future, it would remain unchanged.

Applying this with my earlier idea would work, right?

In a way, yes. Because that would only be sidestepping relativity and not denying it.

Indeed. Theoretically, dark matter could be used to bend space (stretch, contract, etc.) similar to your idea.

But it is dark matter, man...If there was only a way to purify dark matter.

For all intents and purposes, everything is moving. As I type this, I am hurtling through space at approximately 136 mi/s. (Fortunately, my house is joining me for the ride...)

And that is not even factoring in any movement of the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

It would have to work sort of like...Still relies on the Quantum State....

If there was a way to manipulate Quantum Matter besides having to use the Quantum State!

I feel like i'm sooooo close!

It would have to be still enough to use the ideas, but not exactly still entirely.

Sounds like we need Dark Matter in order to fix it still, while we proceed to Accelerate into the Quantum Jump State. Then after the Quantum State is no longer needed, use dark matter to continue the atoms to move. I don't know.

Assuming you'd like to live on mercury.

"Although it cannot host life, it is noteworthy as the third-nearest transiting exoplanet known to date and one of the best rocky planets we have for measuring the composition of any atmosphere it may possess." It's 11 times closer to its star than Mercury is to our sun and the researchers estimate that it has an average temperature of 490 degrees Fahrenheit. This does not account for any potential warming effects of an atmosphere if it has one. It completes one orbit around the star every 3.9 days.

I want to travel faster, through space. I was only saying that Wormholes might speed up the process, but also might risk traveling through time in ways we don't want.

Likely being squeezed like toothpaste through a wormhole the size of your toothpaste cap.
"Time travel" quickly into the afterlife.
