Yes, and since I have both manuals, I can compare them:
1997, p. 11:
Every person who was ever born on earth was our spirit brother or sister in heaven. Once people who weren't looking to debunk the church got their hands on the relevant documents, analysis after analysis determined that the 1826 "trial" was actually a pretrial hearing and that it most likely ended with the charges being dismissed.
I'm being serious when I ask whether or not you've examined any of these arguments for yourself or are simply taking them at face value, as these are all items that have already been dealt with.

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Mt 24:24
The sheep's wool of the wolf is getting thicker … thus also the deception of the deceived and the deceivers.

The deceiver is anyone who states that a person does NOT need to keep the commandments:
(Old Testament | Deuteronomy 13:1 - 5)
1 IF there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
We are to serve God the Father and keep the commandments.

Please, Hear what we are saying or you only will deceive yourself. Keeping GOD's Commands refers to Exodus 20:3 The First Commandment: No idolatry
"Thou Shalt have no other gods before Me!"
Do not miss the LORD GOD's Instruction by selectively "editing" the BIBLE again, as it omits the ACTUAL message of Deuteronomy 13:2 which succinctly states this:
1. If Any prophet or dreamer , even if he produces signs
2. If a prophet says "lets follow after other gods"
3. Do Not Listen to that prophet.
4. The LORD your GOD is using this prophet to test your love, whether you love GOD with all your heart and with all your soul.
5.You are to fear GOD & Keep His Commands - KEEP the First Commandment - THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME.
6. The prophet has advocated rebellion against the LORD your GOD...the punishment for idolatry & advocating rebellion -->shall be put to DEATH.
7. So you SHALL PURGE the EVIL Among you.
Deut 13:3-5 that.... "ANY prophet ,even if he produces a sign or wonder, and says, "Let us go after other gods --you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer.
For the LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul
4 You are to follow the LORD your God and fear Him.
Keep His commandments and listen to His voice; serve Him and hold Him fast.
5 SUCH A PROPHET or DREAMER MUST BE PUT TO DEATH,
because he Has ADVOCATED REBELLION against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, in order to turn you from the way the LORD your God has commanded you to walk.
So you MUST PURGE the EVIL from Amongst you."

According to the Bible a deceiver is a false prophet, or a false teacher or any person who purposely misrepresents God's message leading others astray.
Keeping God's Commands refers to Exodus 20:3 - "Thou Shalt Have No Other gods Before Me."

Again, a tirade against JS.
If you have the knowledge and the Holy Spirit to be with you, tell me how we solve the seeming conflict between these 4 scriptures in the bible.
Exodus 33:20 and John 1:18 These 2 scriptures say "no man has seen God at any time".
Genesis 18-1-8 and Genesis 32:24-30 says that "men have see God and lived".
Please explain to me how you explain this seeming conflict. I know how to explain it, but do you?

It is God Himself who condemns the False Prophets for seeking after other gods & preaching Another Gospel
Deceivers MO is always to attack God's Word--which is what the false prophet ,sorcerer, divinator Joseph Smith Jr. taught. Joseph Smith Jr. was Not a Prophet of GOD, but showed himself to be a false prophet who spoke rebellion against the LORD GOD, saying "lets seek after other gods..."
The Son of God, the Lord JESUS CHRIST, Our SAVIOR , Lord Jesus is the Messiah, and the KING of KINGS.
The Bible declares that it alone is God-breathed, the Bible is the complete authoritative written Word of God and it ended with Apostle John's prophetic vision written in the Book of Revelation WHICH was GIVEN John by the Lord JESUS CHRIST. Revelation 1: "1 This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, 2who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ."…
The Book of Revelation comes with a warning at the end for anyone who tampers with the Biblical text:
Revelation 22:18-19 contains a warning to anyone who tampers with the biblical text of Revelation: “For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book. And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.”
