Thankfully, not all Christians live under the delusion that God is for some reason offended by masturbation, or that it's somehow harmful. It's easy to laugh at, and I do, but it's also a very sinister thing. I remember all too well the shame and fear that haunted me because I, like every other guy, masturbated. Though that shame is long gone, that twisted view of sexuality still, even now as an unbeliever, casts shadows into the sexual life of my wife and I. I'm so glad we're not passing that crap on to our kids. They're going to have the greatest sex life and never be ashamed of enjoying their natural, healthy, wonderful sexuality, alone or with a partner.

There could eventually be a booming market for pet cones for humans to keep them from licking their own genitals (at least in public) as we progress into joining the rest of the animal kingdom in their intimate ways.

Beautiful answer. You’re correct. I’ve heard interesting teachings on this subject and others related to sex. I believe couples should address the topic lovingly with a willingness to listen and please one another.

Here is what I've determined the likely problem of that:

Unless you're separated for some reason, like a business trip, then the "wife" you're fantasizing about is likely not really the wife you have. That is, you may be fantasizing about her in some way that makes the fantasy a different person.

Regression is not progression. What humans like to call love is not love for agape love goes outward to others, whereas humans pretend physical love is for others but only ultimately serves self. The same self serving sin that got us booted from the Garden and has become the foundation for the world of man in comparison to the Kingdom. I'm not saying that sex equals love, if that's what you mean. Anyway, I don't see anything harmful or morally wrong with masturbation. IMO you have to both be creative in your interpretation, and fundamentally miss the point of the gospel, if you want to use the bible to condemn it. But what the bible might have to say about it (if anything) is of course irrelevant to me now.

Rubbish! This is the most disturbing thing I have ever heard in a christian forum. There is no scripture that teaches masturbation, oral sex, manual sex is ok in the Song of Soloman or elsewhere in the bible.
