The Good News (True Gospel) (and not False) is not a ministry of Condemnation, but is one of "Reconciliation"...

And if any man comes preaching "another gospel", or "any other gospel"...? Ect...

God Bless!

OK, somebody mentioned that there should maybe be some questions to this, so, here are some or a few, K...?

How were we reconciled to YHWH or God in the OT...? Why did we need to reconciled, and what was reconciled or repaired specifically...? What was it that needed to be repaired or changed, ect, and what changed, ect...? And again, how did that happen, ect...? And, then did it really, really even happen, or not, (or not) ect...?

And then, why should this ministry of reconciliation be the "only Gospel", ect...?

What is included, or not included, in a message or Gospel of reconciliation, ect...?

And then, what about others who preach a "different Gospel", ect...?

Comments...?

God Bless!

Yes.
What's your question, and why did you choose to post this in 'Controversial Theology'?

And it's more of a statement really, and warning...

Thought it would be good for all of us to keep in mind, ect...

Sure. People are already condemned, they don't need any ministry for that.

We're all condemned until we hear the Gospel. That's why Jesus told us to go into all the world, make disciples and teach them what he has taught us.
He was made flesh and died because the world was condemned and separated from God.

Should we be the ones doing the condemning though...?

Or what should we let to and/or do that instead of or besides us, ect...?

If it should not be us, ect...?

God Bless!

Yes, it is a beautiful gospel of reconciliation. Reconcilation I believe, even under the old covenant was by faith in God. Since Christ's death, burial and resurrection, it has been believing and trusting in that for your salvation. Nothing else no works added or required. Its all by faith in Christ's finished work. An interesting observation. Nowhere do you see the apostles, especially looking at Paul's ministry, preaching hell and damnation when they held forth the gospel. I do believe in a judgement of course, but that was never used to lead people to Christ. Paul said its the kindness of God that leads you to repentence.

We need to be reconciled to God because all have sinned and fallen short of His glory - since Adam. The issue is SIN.

Romans 7:13
13 Has then what is good (the Law) become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

Romans 8:1-9
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

John 8:31-36
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (Jesus frees us from sin.)

1 John 3:5
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

This is the good news - freedom from sin. But not from our own strength, our old carnal nature. No, Jesus makes us born again of the Spirit.

Ezekiel 26
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

That's the Spirit within us.
