I read that early Americans would finish winter, first take time to get food, then their men would go out to fight and kidnap from other tribes. There was a time for everything. If they kidnapped someone, that person became adopted and treated as family. Men proved themselves by doing this.

In case there is any accuracy to this > how would you like to have annual spring food gathering and preparation and farming, then men would raid other towns and cities to prove themselves in fighting and kidnapping any women and children they felt they needed back at home? You would, of course, adopt your slaves as family members. And doing this would prove your manhood. And everybody would be doing it; so it would be fine.

Actually, professional sports teams adopt each other's players, and then they become family in their new cities.

So, in case natives used to do that, I think that has already been somewhat debunked.

Great points, agreed, but if we did not kill them would we have to necessarily join them and follow them? The Native Americans in general were very open to negotiations for territory, to the point that their land eventually disappeared. Perhaps I've taken too much liking to Joseph Campbell. Still though, there was a lot of wisdom we could have gained from the Indians still (as tribal barbarians, but perhaps not from savages), such as the shamanic practices for what today are schizophrenics in hospitals, more respect for the earth instead of destroying it with waste, and a communal living structure offers some advantages in to our more segregated and individualistic society where a lot of people are lonely. But still, I think the question would boil down to whether or not their tribal nature forced our conquering of them, or if it was simply more convenient that civilizing them with rule of law.

White man came, saw , and conquered, unjustly, without right on their side.
White man, by most indications is and was far more savage, more barbaric, than most Native American Tribes ever were.
White man re-wrote history via television, to make white man look not so bad and evil,
and to paint the Native American in bad light.
The Native Americans were more civilized than most white men were/are today.

I think your sentiment confuses hate with vocalizing imperfections.

And if -- hypothetically speaking, of course -- someone out there were to refer to someone else, as a, let's say... "semi-literate clod who should have been smothered in their own placenta for the good of the species," I'm willing to bet that you'd interpret that as "hate" rather than "vocalizing imperfections."

...unless, of course, Donald tweeted it... Then who can say?

According to Donald

Baltimore is a rat and rodent infested mess,
Atlanta is falling apart,
Chicago is out of control,
San Francisco is disgusting...

Remember, boys and girls... it's okay to hate America if you just do it one city at a time...
Which of those claims is untrue?

All of them. It takes more than the Word of Donald to make it so.
Indeed it does. What if I've spent copious amounts of time in those places over the past year and a half and can vouch for every single one of President Trump's critiques? Does that make it so?

Have you?

What if I too have done the same and can vouch that Donald is full of himself?

It is inappropriate to post such a video, apparently, and makes no point of truth.

Huh? There's nothing inappropriate about it and it tells the same story as what you wrote in your post. Heck, you even inadvertently started your post with the first 3 words of the lyrics.

I didn't vote for a "Christian" leader either. I do, however, expect leaders, at any level of government, to comport themselves as adults and work cooperatively to solve problems.

We have an opportunity to exhibit those qualities through our work and ministries. People should want to mimic us. Then you’d see a shift.

What do you think the president's efforts to bring manufacturing jobs back to the USA had in mind, TLK--expecting the companies to build factories only in areas where no one lives?

Maybe MSNBC didn't cover that news.

That's because MSNBC and CNN will never cover any news that could possibly be construed as positive toward Trump..

Which of those four is inaccurate in description?
About as accurate/inaccurate as saying the same about most big American cities, just substitute in the name: Houston, Dallas, L.A., Washington.

It's exactly as if some angry guy in traffic yells a curse at you for little reason. Maybe you waited 2 seconds at a green.

Or 3.

Or 1.

It doesn't matter how long you waited. You were only the target of opportunity.

Later he'll curse someone else.

The day after that, another.

Etc.

Cause that's his habit, to curse people.

It's reliable, until he repents, if he ever does.

Not to get off topic, but I understand some tribes are doing ok with their gaming interests. As I recall, the Mohegans and Pequots in Conn., and a Sioux tribe in Minn. are earning decent revenues.

It's a symmetry of sorts. In the old days, the white man got the red man drunk to steal his lands. Now the red man gets the white man drunk to steal his money. ^_^

I knew the Casino industry would end up being mentioned lol, nice xD!

It's the funniest thing too because they'll have them in the middle of gambling-illegal states where the reserves are under their own jurisdiction!

Edit: My own post is giving me uncomfortable vibes, apologies if I'm offending anyone because I feel I generalized with my statement. Can't hit un-submit.
