It is no surprise that you are in denial. But denial you most certainly are in, whether you concede it or not.

The transcript of the thread is clear: the MBob is appealing to concerns about how people LOOK:

Republican Arizona state senator says US will 'look like South American countries' soon

Well, from my looking around in San Diego County where we live and in Tuscaloosa County Alabama were my brother and family live, I would say she is spot right on.

Look: MBob got caught appealing to racist sentiments - whether intended or not, the language above appeals to how people LOOK.
Depends on how one defines the word look. Looks like what? a nation invaded by illegals? Or brown folks?

The article is about the 40 percent of Navajo Nation members who don’t have access to running water in their homes. It also discusses how some of the Navajo tribal members don't trust the Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency or trust the drinking water because they believe the water has been contaminated by now-abandoned uranium mining. I thought it was a very informative article to read.

Very informative, but not the sort of problem your suggest in your post. In fact the article reveals that the problem is being addressed. Of course water access is difficult in such a far-flung rural situation.

Why no mention of drilling new wells? Surely there's water down there. Also pipelines to outlying areas can't be that expensive.

Edit.
Based on further reading it is a serious problem, made worse by sheer size of the area and widespread distribution of the people. It seems to me that transporting safe water overland remains the only viable solution at this time.

Things are being done however.

My neighbor hired an migrant worker to finish his roof. He did a terrible job, so my neighbor hired me to do it again at half the price.
That's great. We found a good roofer. I know many good American roofers and many good migrant roofers but have never met a bad one. I have never seen a bad migrant brick Mason and all have been incredible workers. I worked railroad construction for 25 years and many of the private contractors use migrant workers and have never met a bad worker amongst them.
At least you found one bad one.

The term "look" wasn't directed at the people's physical appearance, but what their civilization has become at their hand. We don't want them to bring the very thing they are fleeing from to America. That's the fear.

Yes, drill some wells. Problem solved. But then what would liberals complain about?

Such infrastructure would affect the pristine beauty of the region, unless everything was installed underground.

They might complain that there's nothing to complain about. o_O

I'm sure there are some bad but I've never found one yet, something I can't say about many Americans. I know lots of good American workers but for every ten good ones I've encountered about four bad ones.

I worked in the south and the migrant workers there urinated in the bathtubs at the jobsite in brand new homes. There were toilets installed but they didn't use them.

This reminds me of a nightclub I went to just across the border from El Paso (I was stationed at Ft. Bliss). In the center of the men's room was a large claw-foot bathtub that served as a communal urinal. A flushing pipe surrounded the rim which cleared it immediately. On the inner sides of the tub were pictures of local and national politicians, who could be pee'd on at your discretion. Of course I chose to use a wall hung urinal so's not to offend anyone. ^_^

This is how I hid my well head, from a distance it looks real.

You should have given them one of the Hanoi Jane urinal stickers.

It's about the invasion of our country and I don't care what color people are. I was raised in the ghetto and did not even have a white friend all of my friends were minorities so why do you go there?

Because you make things up.

Or possibly think that you are a mind reader?

This was 1964, before the Jane Fonda thing which was 1972. Anyway I don't think the Mexicans would have cared that much.

Natives are traumatized by things that happened 150 years ago?

You've moved the goalposts again.

You initially asked about NDNs being traumatized by things that happened 100 years ago.

I responded by sharing many of the current issues NDNs are facing today, including PTSD.

You then resort by asking how Trump has caused the PTSD.

I respond by saying that I never implied such a thing about Trump.

You're now back to asking about NDNs being traumatized by things that happened in the past.

Ok, fair enough, so why are they traumatized?
