The woman previously changed her last name to Liberty because she was seeing the statue of liberty in a love relationship. She has now decided to settle down and has become engaged to a chandelier.

Some quotes:

“I know a lot of people think my attraction to chandeliers is strange, but I’m not crazy.”

People often can’t understand that this is just a natural orientation for me, that I can find the beauty in objects and can sense their energy,” she said. “I’m not hurting anyone by entering into a relationship with them, I am simply just following my heart.

I think one concern is whether a chandelier can consent to the relationship.
Only to some; there are many who would see this as perfectly fine, even normal maybe and would probably be willing to even set out a place setting for 2 for the happy couple......

Seems crystal clear to me that she needs psychological therapy.

Either way, her instability is blindingly obvious.

Ok, she's pranking us, right folks. Or rather, pranking all of the 'liberty' people take now a days. It is slightly amusing, but probably not if a person has an unusual real proclivity, then it is probably not funny to them so much I suppose.

I have seen a documentary about that woman.. or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.. I believe she was engaged to the Eiffel Tower, lol..

Not sure how her attraction works, but I do have sympathy for those in the "fetish" community. Or whatever you want to call it.

Does no one have sympathy for the statue, tower, or chandelier? They have no romantic interest at all* for hundreds of years, and then they finally meet a woman, and she's crazy. What luck!

* okay, okay...there was that one segment from the cartoon show The Critic back in the 1990s where the main character briefly fantasizes about the Statue of Liberty before being tapped on the shoulder by a cop pointing to a sign that says "No Fantasizing About Statue". Maybe this woman saw that and decided that she wasn't going to let a cartoon sign tell her how to run her life.

Right, I don't really care that she's crazy.

I miss that show.

I think one concern is whether a chandelier can consent to the relationship.

It's undeniable that she turns the chandelier on. That implies consent to me.

So far no one has turned the spotlight on how they met. Was the chandelier just hanging around?
I'm also puzzled by her former relationship to Statue of Liberty, Surely the chandelier can't hold a candle to that.
