Of course clarification helps, but if your wondering if it's okay to see a fun magic show it's cool.. there's really nothing in the Bible about that..

If your talking witchcraft, there's nothing to fear as greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world...

But it's a sin to mess with, absolutely. I'd distance myself from those involved in such things.

In bible there is examples magic can be dangerous for the victims. Do you fear magic?
Well, Saul contracted a witch to speak with Samuel post mortem, then Saul died.

I don't fear magic, because the kingdom of God exists on an alternate continuum of existence.

There are gospel related remedies for magic use, so it's not really to fear, just a prayer thing so God can teach such remedies.

"Magic" is always a fraud designed to make people believe something that isn't true. Stage conjuring is benign, because the audience is never expected to believe that it's actually magic. But claims of "magical powers" are always an attempt to deceive, and are always crooked.

Witchcraft? Spells? Magiks? No...

But I do find pharmakeia interesting. Pharmakeia as found in Galations 5:19 (witchcraft) is the Greek root for the words like pharmaceutical. The concrete noun is pharmakon whose primary meaning is poison; its secondary meaning is magic potion or charm to achieve a desirable objective; and its tertiary meaning is medicine, remedy, or drug for healing. Pharmakeia? | Massachusetts Bible Society

Many religions use drugs to alter their mental state and even receive the spirits of ancestors or demons. I some times wonder if their is any relation to psychotropics and violence. As an example, you would be hard-pressed to find a mass shooter that was not on some sort of mind/mood altering prescription drugs. And I'm not conflating two topics here. I often wonder if certain drugs can alter you spiritually, and/or open you up to demonic attack. Even then, I do not fear it. But I am more aware of what medicines I allow into my body.
