Hello! I'm here to ask what methods you are using to circumvent/avoid profane content on the internet, specifically the content which pop-up's out of nowhere as an ad.
I'm personally fine with that, I know how to mentally block these images and not resort to lustful thinking, what I am worried about is my 8 year old son.
While I only allow internet usage in the communal spaces of our home (kitchen, living room), I am not naive enough to think that this alone is sufficient. My friend recommended me an application called friendly family dns (you can find a link here: Parent control app, Family internet filter | Family Friendly DNSParent control app, Family internet filter | Family Friendly DNS )
which allegedly blocks all inappropriate content related content. Have any of you tried it? Can I rest assured that it's working at least 90% of the times? Any help or tips would be appreciated.
