I would disagree with that message. As we know from Revelation 21:8

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

I would think cowardly and liars rank pretty high in the quantity area as they are probably viewed as less evil.

There is also a section in the NT that describes all non-charitable people as headed for the lake of fire: Matthew 25:35-46

I saw the article.

As to the question - if we go past the obvious (unbelief, hardness of heart against God, etc.) ...

I would actually think that pride is the root cause of the worst spiritual conditions of persons. For that matter, it's usually at the root of rejecting God as well.

Before the fall is always pride. Well said. Our lady seems to saying that most people go to hell because of unchastity. At the root is always pride.

Can a person who accepted Jesus fall into immoral sexual behavior?
But, you asked what sent more PEOPLE to Hell...… not what caused more BELIEVERS to fail. I think there are actually more people in the first category than will ever be in the second.

You may be right on that. However since even the just man sins 7 times a day I think it highly probable this applies to Christians and non-Christians especially since our Lady was showing this to Christian children to be told to the church.

I once went through the Gospels looking at Jesus' teachings on judgement. Here is a count I came up with. It's based on Matthew, since he has by far the most, and the others are normally duplicates of something in Matthew.

7 uselessness (no fruit, no taste, bad fruit
7 reject Jesus and message, no faith, etc
2 failing to forgive
2 hyperbole (call someone fool, fail to amputate)
2 refuse to repent
1 going through broad gate
1 seeking to save your life
1 speaking against Holy Spirit
1 being evil rather than righteous
1 causing a child to stumble
1 shut others out of kingdom
1 hypocrites
1 mistreat others

Note the complete absence of the kinds of violations of purity than most people consider the most serious. That's not surprising, since purity was the Pharisees' thing.

Reading this thread made me think of where James mentions in v10 if you sin even minor sins your guilty of the whole law. No one can keep the law, everyone fails. Our righteousness is apart from the law.
The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
If your in Christ then all your sins are forgiven you, they wont keep you from heaven, but not all the repercussions, what a man sows that shall he also reap, in some way at some time, God determines that.
The law was a ministry of condemnation and was still glorious,
2 Corinthians 3
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

James 2
8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”

Our lady seems to saying that most people go to hell because of unchastity.
I'm sure this is true for Roman Catholics. But for the rest of what sends most people to hell is undoubtedly "iconoclasm."

Anathema to those who do not salute the holy and venerable images (Seventh Ecumenical Council in 787 A.D.).
